April 21, 2023 ***** came to my house to clean my HVAC unit he installed last year. he was also there to fix a leak in my toilet. he told me it was likely needing a new wax ring and put a towel down and told me to call in and let him know what side the toilet is leaking from. he came back on the 28th and when he got here he told me it was a leak from a bad bolt at the base of the top tank (all of which i had just replaced). charged me over $140 for an $8.50 bolt replacement. HE TOLD ME MY WAX RING WAS FINE. when he left he said i was all ready to go and that the leak had stopped. when i went to use my toilet i almost fell off of it because ***** failed to holster it back down. i really hurt myself because i have RA and i fell onto my hands, of which i have surgery for this coming thursday the 11th. i called in that monday because he took me so late on friday they weren’t open. may 1st ***** told me he would call me by close of business today. which was the same thing she told me tuesday the 2nd and wednesday the 3rd until i eventually stopped calling in. i hired a new plumber who had left a detailed description of why i had to pay to REPLACE THE FLANGE because it broke because previous plumber did not secure the toilet not just properly BUT AT ALL! i had to pay this plumber $229 because of ******* neglect. And i have the invoices to prove it. Unacceptable and totally reprehensible. i’m a single mother and disabled combat wounded veteran. what he did is WRONG.Business response

*******, I apologize if you feel cheated on the work performed. I never unbolted your toilet from the floor, the repair made was to the gasket kit inside the top tank, that you attempted to repair yourself causing a leak. To resolve this complaint, I'm more than willing to provide you with a full refund. The refund will be processed tomorrow morning as soon as the office opens. You can expect the money returned to your card with 5 business days. My integrity or that of any employee has never been brought into question before this issue. I only wish that you would had called me directly yo resolve before it got to this point.
