Date/time of transaction: 3/22/2024 at 8:45am Invoice #: ******* (invoice has incorrect date of 3/20/2024) Paid $159.00 The business committed to providing me what their website claims they do which is to buff, sand down scratches, and paint the bumper and quarter panel to look like new. All they did was mop some mismatched paint over the course scratches and let it dry which is something I could have done myself. I have attached pictures to show how bad it looks. I cried when they left my car in ruins. I would have never paid someone to do this to my new car. The quality of work is unacceptable. When I explained that their website was misleading, and I never would have agreed to pay money for someone to simply use a paint brush to paint over the scratch, I was told that what their website actually shows them doing to repair cars is not something that they actually do, and I would have needed to contact a body shop for that. I have this message saved if you need it. I understand that their repairs are not perfect and can potentially be visible when looking at it up close, but this repair is visible not only up close but from over 20+ feet away. My car was not repaired my car was defaced. I do not approve of the work that was done to my vehicle and I did not sign off on the invoice. My credit card has been charged for $159 and I am simply asking for a refund so that I can take my car and get it fixed by a professional that stands by their work and will do what they advertise to do for their customers. The owner of the company, said he would "try" to come fix the mess they did to my car, but I am afraid they will only make it worse by trying to "fix it". I scheduled to have my car fixed at another place tomorrow 3/23/2024, but I reluctantly agreed to text **** pictures and told him that he could come by today or else I would be getting it fixed tomorrow. He never responded to my text. I just want my money back to I can get it fixed properly.Business response

Good morning. I am sorry that the customer was unhappy with the repair. She initially seemed happy and paid for the repair. A touch up is not a perfect repair and the cost of the repair reflects this.It seems that she wanted a repair and refinish to like-new condition, which is one of Colors on Parade's specialties. A "perfect" refinish is substantially more expensive than a touch up, and she declined this type of repair because of the cost. I asked for the opportunity to address the color match on the touch up as it did seem not to be the near-perfect match for which we strive. She declined and chose another way for repair.Of course we refunded the cost of the repair. She needs not to overreact with our attempt to repair the damage. She paid for the repair, said that she was satisfied and our technicians left. Only later did she call to complain without giving Colors on Parade to address the problem. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. Regards, ****** *******
