I am writing in reference to the complaint ID ******** from ****** ******* on her 2018 Dodge Durango. Customer did call in to ****** several days after the purchase and said she could feel a vibration in the front right when she was going downhill and applying the brakes. ****** got with Shawn Lane our service manager and they attempted to ask questions about what it could be. ****** called her back and told her we would be happy to cover the cost of the diagnostic, but would have to see what the issue was before saying we would cover any parts and labor. Customer got irate and started cursing and hung up. ****** is also our back-up F&I guy, he certainly would not misrepresent a warranty in any way, shape or form.Thank you, **** ****My Town CDJR

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards, ****** ******* That is untrue . The first time I called yes we will fix it as soon as financing is complete. Then a couple days later financing was complete and I ask again. He said yes he would fix it just had to get appointment made. Then my tags ran out from them and when I was on the phine about that I ask about brakes yet again. So now it had been over a month and he states he will cover diagnostic but not repair. But 2 times earlier he stated it would get fixed. Even the day I got the car everything is covered bumper to bumper then the story change.

I purchased a vehicle on March 24 from My town and on April 9th they advised me they were pulling the deal because they forgot to put in my contract with the new loan company that there was a pay off on my trade in. I’ve tried to be civil in the matter and offered many options to them but now after almost one month of owning the new vehicle they demand i turn it back in

We traded in my truck on a fuel efficient car to make the 140 mile a day commute to school. I talked to someone multiple times and explained I was on an educational leave from ******* and my only income was my stipend from the school. I was assured by multiple people that the stipend was more than enough income. It was a horrible experience from start to finish. During the test drive the check engine light came on, I was told it was because the car was running when they put gas in it. Even after we caught the fact that they were only giving 2/3 of the payoff of my trade in, we still signed for the car on Saturday because it is what we needed while I was in school. On the way home, the check engine light came on again, Advance a auto read the codes, and it was nothing to do with the gas cap, it was 2 faulty engine parts. I called them and they set an appointment for the following Thursday. Above 55mph, the car shook so bad it made my radar detector fall off the windshield. We took it to get the wheels balanced and oil changed ($100). ******* found the rim was bent due to hitting something. It needed to be replaced. I drove the car to school on Monday and Tuesday. On my way to school on WWednesday (day 3), I stopped to get gas. After pumping my gas, the car would not start. When the key was turned, it did nothing. Even jumper cables wouldn’t get it started. 7am and and almost an hour away from home, I had to find a ride to school and get the car towed home. Called the dealership and it took until 5pm to talk to someone about the problem. Even after all of this, we were still very understanding. We just wanted to be able to drive the car that we had purchased 4 days prior. At this point we were told that our financing had fallen through. We were told everything was good on Saturday when we signed the papers. But, now they were telling us to try to get the car started to drive it back.
