Rip off in so many ways! Could write a book. But how they really work unethically is you order meals and they send you completely different items that you didn’t order and they lie and claim that you did order them. I’m Jewish, so I do not eat pork and they sent me a pork meal, which I know that I didn’t put in my menu. I could go on and on about issues like this. They absolutely positively unequivocally won’t refund you. So just buyer beware

Good morning, I have researched your account and see that two meals were sent that should not have been. We apologize this happened, but we did in fact refund you for those two items the day you called in. An email confirmation was also sent to you on 11/7/22 discussing the refund. If I could give zero stars I would! This company's website advertises a weekly rate of $104 for the program from the previous price of $139 plus tax and shipping. I have screenshots of the cost of the program I signed up for. The four weeks I have been apart of the program I have been charged $139+ per week. I have emailed the billing department numerous times and they have argued that the prices was never $104 even though that is what is on their website even at this very moment. They refused to refund me the additional $35 a week I was charged and instead argued with me over the phone when I finally called in because I was getting no where with the staff via email. Not to mention the food was watery, tasteless and not very good for the price they are charging customers. I have since cancelled my subscription and will be leaving negative reviews warning everyone of the scam that is BistroMD.BistroMD Response

Good morning, Thank you for your feedback. It appears that first order was discounted 35% off and free shipping. Our website does indicate that the first week is special pricing .The program you selected after the first week is $169.70. I am very sorry to hear you did not enjoy the food. We understand our members each have unique taste preferences. Each member has the ability to review each meal and remove any entree off of their menu if they so desire. With over 150 entrees to choose from we hope most members find many entrees they enjoy. I am sorry to hear this was not the case.Review from Darcy P

I didn't receive the discount from BistroMD for referring another person at my home to the plan, so had to call them & request it. They finally issued the referral discount, however, they then didn't give us the almost $20 each discount on that same billing, total of $40, for ordering from the same household. They said they couldn't stack discounts. I asked for a Mgr & they said they'd have one call back. It took several days to receive the call back only to be advised while they recognized I didn't get the discount I was promised, they could not give me the discount, too much time had passed. But they'd honor it moving forward on new orders. In regards to the product, they use very poor quality, thin & brittle plastic food containers. Several times we rec'd them broken leaving bits of plastic in the food. And other times when microwaving the food in these same containers it was the same issue, the plastic fell apart into the food. Quality of the food was "ok", breakfast yogurts & bars were fine. I am disappointed with the customer service in not somehow finding a way to refund the $40 back to us and the poor container quality so we have cancelled our subscriptions. I would not recommend BistroMD. I would mark this as zero starts yet the form doesn't seem to support it.
