      This happens EVERY year. I get my yearly checkup. There is NO copay for yearly checkups. I am there approximately 5 minutes. Get checked. Have a few places “sprayed” in accordance with my checkup. My insurance is billed for 3 separate charges. I pay an additional $50 for cosmetic places that I want “sprayed”. I paid my $50 and ask if I owe anything else before I leave? The answer is ALWAYS, NO! After a few weeks, they want to charge me another $40 Please have them stop harassing me! The ONLY other correspondence that I will accept from them is a statement stating that I have a ZERO balance

      A Dermatologist is considered a specialist.  His insurance has been billed and sent information back stating he does owe his copay per the explanation of benefits.

      River Ridge Dermatology has harassed me for months! I have spoken with them via phone, via text, via email and with written communication. River Ridge Dermatology has been harassing me for services that I had them to first check my insurance as to the coverage and amount for the service PRIOR to my allowing them to do said services. On my initial visit, there was NO Charge. River Ridge Dermatology wanted to do procedures on the initial visit. I declined. I asked them to first check my insurance for approval and any associated costs for me. They called me back at a later date, after checking with my insurance and told me that there would be NO cost to me for the services. This was a recorded conversation on their phone services. I returned and had the procedures done and again was informed that there would be NO cost to me. About 2 months later, River Ridge Dermatology began harassing me and wanting to charge me for the procedures that they had previously informed me that there would be NO Charge to me. They have been harassing me ever since!!! The procedure that I had done was sometime back in March 2022. They have been harassing me since approximately May 2022!!!!

      I am sorry to hear that you have been harassed for a payment from the billing department which is separate from our office. After looking at all charges and payments from the insurance company, it looks like the only charge that was charged to you is the initial office visit which would be your co-pay which at the time of that visit we did not collect your specialty co-pay.  Your procedure was covered by your insurance. I tried to call you today to touch base with you, I will try to call you again. Thank you
