Had a contract with the business to provide $1800.00 of landscaping services to include hedge trimming, landscape border, mulching, aeration, overseeding, fertilization weed control. Two payments were given to the business- one payment for $900.00 prior to the work being done and once the work was performed Tuesday March 22, 2022 a final payment of $900.00 that was picked up Thursday March 24, 2022 with a verbal agreement there would be additional seed placed as per the contract the seeding was included and it would be inspected once down to see if additional was needed. On Friday March 20th received a text message from the business ' I am going to be by in a few days and spread about 20 more pounds of seed... the seed looks a bit light .' They didnt come by. Multiple attempts to call and text. On 4/8/22 I had a text ' i am not avoiding you- OOT until the 10th and will call. Despite multiple calls and texts since then there has been zero response. Now I am seeking $400.00 refund to secure another company to finish the job Smalls Landscaping left incomplete. There has been plenty of time for this business to respond to text and voice mail. This is a critical time for grass seed to grow and Ive invested too much money for the work to be incomplete. They needed to finish what they started. At this point I dont want them back on my property, I want my money, We could stop payment on the last $900.00 check per the bank but I would rather handle it this way. I can provide texts to and from this business if requested. The work was started one month ago. Plenty of time to finish and they havent
