On 11/17/22 I contacted First Community Bank to close a secondary checking and savings account and was advised by customer service rep, ****** that I would need to bring both accounts to a Zero dollar balance and the accounts would need to go through one posting cycle before I could request my accounts be closed. I brought both checking and savings accounts to a Zero balance and on 11/21/22 requested my accounts be closed, again with ******. She confirmed via chat she had notified the branch and that my accounts would be closed. On 11/25/22 I received a notification that my checking account had been overdrawn. Overdrawn by charges FCB allowed to post via a debit card that had been locked, and to an account, I had assumed was closed. I contacted FCB via phone and spoke to (*****? I did not capture her name fully) Explained the situation to her and was told the charges would be reversed and my accounts would be closed. Later that morning, ***** from the local FCB branch called me to tell me my accounts weren't closed because she had attempted to contact me to discuss and I did not answer her call, in the middle of a workday. I asked to speak to her manager and was directed to *****. ***** advised I would need to bring the accounts back to a $0 balance and they would close my accounts. I went to the ********** Location and paid cash for the balance to post immediately. I also requested a signed document from ***** stating these are closed, which he provided. On 12/1/2022 I received a notification that my, checking acct with FCB is overdrawn due to an FCB service charge.. Why is this account STILL not closed? My assumption at this point is there is malicious intent for fraudulent activity to occur in my name.

I checked my checking account in the am on 5/22 and 2 bills were being processed. 1 payment to ******* *** for $40.00, one payment to **** ***** for $50.00, On May 25 I mad a purchase at ******* in ***** ** for $204.85 that caused an over draft. First Community Bank processed the charge at *******  first causing the other two payment being over drafted. Then they charge me 2charges of $36.00 for paying 2 bills that were already being processed. The purchase at ******* was 3 days later, that should have not caused the 2 $36.00 payment fees. I feel that this was an unfair practice just to bleed more money from me.
