11/17/2021 - Boat was dropped off to be winterized, prop replaced, gas neck replaced, inspected and covered with shrink wrap.4/25/2022 - Paid for services and picked up boat. Sent email because there was a chunk missing from my fiberglass by the gas cap.5/2/2022 - Put boat in the water to take friends out. Water filled the engine compartment when I ran it. Drove it back to ****** to be looked at. 5/4/2022 - ****** let me know freeze plugs had popped out and the block had frozen. I was initially led to believe the owner was going to replace it. 5/12/2022 - Owner sent me an email stating that the damage occurred prior to me dropping it off. Did not acknowledge the fact that his technician would have winterized a boat with missing freeze plugs. Also did not acknowledge an inspection was done on the boat and there were no notes indicating any freeze plug had popped out. Owner refused to replace engine.
