I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with this company in May 2023 who was recommended by ***. My wife and I were moving n had a moving truck. I called Chuck on a Sat night n advised that I had a flat rear tire at the ****** * ** ***** **** *** Chuck advised that he was close to my location but did not have the tires in stock n that he would contact ******* in the morning. In the morning, I had contacted 2 ******** and only 1 had my tires in stock 13 mins away from me and also from Chucks garage. I then contacted Chuck in the morning around 8am who advised that he located 2 tires on Sat night but did not notify me of this. He advised that his driver (******) would be contacting me with the particulars (tires, service, etc). ****** never called and just showed up around 10am. Prior to that I then contacted *** again n set up a tow since i didn't hear from his driver. ****** had started to work on the vehicle n jacking it up stating that it would only take him 30/40 mins to mount two tires n balance. *** was sent away by ****** unknown to me. ****** took off with the two tires within twenty mins of his arrival but then took him over an hour n half to return. It took another hour to get my bill n for 3 hrs work. Overall the bill was 936 dollars and some change for 2 TIRES which included a $50 charge to run my credit card lol. According to google maps, the distance between my location n the garage was 13 mins n same to the Walmart. Basically it appears that I paid for alot of wasted time when I could have gotten a free tow to ******* 13 mins away paid for 2 tires $300 and a mount for HALF the cost.Business response

I honestly don't know what to say. We received a call from Mr. **** **** on 5/20/23 @ 9:25 pm. He had a Toyota Rav4 Sport and was at the ****** * ** ** ***** **** ** ***** **** **. He needed 2 tires 235/55R18. We didn't have the tires in stock and we called around everywhere trying to find him 2 tires. We finally found 2 at ******** but couldn't get them until Sunday morning when the automotive department opened. We called **** back and told him that we found 2 tires at ******** and put a hold on them. He was explained to that it was a $100.00 call out fee and $125.00 per hour with a 2 hour min. and a 10% fuel surcharge. He told us that was fine and for us to please do him as soon as we could Sunday morning. He called Sunday morning around 8:30 am to make sure that we was still coming out and I told him yes that the tech was at ******** then picking up the tires. After tech picked up tires he then went to ****** * and removed the 2 wheels and then took them back to our shop to dismount and mount the new tires and balance them on the tire machine. He then went back out the ****** * and put them back on the vehicle. Customer was billed and paid the bill. Customer also gave the tech a $50.00 tip and told him what a wonderful job that we did. I don't understand why he would have tipped the tech. To be honest with the drive time and wait at ******** and the drive time to and from our shop twice we probably had over 3 hours in the call total but only billed 3 hours. I have attached copy of invoice and text with the customer. Please advise if you need anything else.Customer response

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Regards, **** **** Again, Chuck was contacted on Saturday night and then again on Sunday morning. My wife was sitting right beside me when I contacted him and nothing was explained and was told the driver (******) would be contacting me in which he did not n showed up two hours later hence why i contacted *** again the morning because i had not heard back from Chuck or ******. ****** showed up around 10AM n removed the tires sending the *** driver away without my knowledge. After the tire was fixed my wife n I sat there in the hot sun for over an hour waiting to get the bill which was outrageous for 2 tires to be installed. Again nothing was explained to us and we feel as thou we were taken advantage of as ******* was half the cost with a free tow from ***.
