On March 27,2022, a room with 2 double beds was booked for July 23 - July 24 through *** ******** *** Hotel XXXXXXXXXXNY for Sunset Beach Hotel, **** ******* *** for ******** The confirmation was #XXXXXXXXXX. I arrived at the hotel early on July 23,2022 to t confirm the room, and said I would return at 4PM, which was the check in time. I returned to the hotel at 6PM and received keys for rm.#240, which had only 1 bed for 3 adults. I was told by office staff that there were no other rooms available, so I asked for a refund and was given a voucher. The front desk was very busy and I was upset. I, then, proceeded to drive back to Delaware. Upon arriving at my residence on July 23,2022. I called the hotel that evening and spoke to ****. I explained the situation and that I was given a voucher for ******** ******* of *********** ****** #240. **** said that ******** ******* was in the hotel, but she did not see my name in the system. I explained that I was afraid ******** ******* would be given the refund and not me. **** said she would report it to the nighttime auditor. I called back on July 24,2022, and spoke to **** again. I was told they found the problem, and to expect a refund to my **** card in 3 to 10 days. I spoke to ****** on Sept. 9,2022 and ***** on Sept.12,2022 at **** ***** and the money had not yet been refunded. One last attempt was made to Sunset Beach Hotel on Sept. 12, 2022. I explained my situation again. ***** emailed my request for refund to the general manager, and I was to expect a response from the hotel. As of today, there has been no response and no refund. I do not want this situation to drag on. I want my ******* to be refunded as soon as possible. I did not stay at this hotel on July 23, 2022.
