Joining the honest reviews of this dishonest (no ethical values) group of money steelers. I was referred by my insurance company to them. I paid for a service to evaluate my car and as other customers say, they are refusing to provide report for my paid service, which I can send it to my insurance company. They even boldly and openly challenged me to take them to Consumer court, which eventually I am going to. This kind of people's/Inc's license should be revoked for their dishonest cheating the customer business. Will our Govt take any kind of action?Auto Appraisal Group, Inc. Response

This review is not an accurate representation of the service this customer requested. He did not hire us for an appraisal. This customer requested a value consultation regarding a diminished value claim. Which he did receive. Our website autoappraisal.com clearly states: "Auto Appraisal Groups Diminished ******************* is provided to assist you in determining if you should order a certified appraisal for a diminished value claim. Based upon the information you provide, this range will provide a verbal estimate of the amount that your vehicle has diminished in value and help you determine how a professional, certified appraisal could support your claim of loss. It is not a guarantee that your cars loss of value is within the given range. IT IS NOT AN APPRAISAL. It is based upon your description and is specific to your vehicle. An on-site inspection by a certified AAG agent is required to determine the actual amount of diminished value." We offer this option to callers to allow some research before investing in an appraisal. We don't want them to hire us if we can not meet their expectations regarding the claim.Customer Response

Thanks for confirming to let all viewers know, we pay $75 for verbal info from AAG which can't be used anywhere. AAG is twisting it as I requested appraisal which is incorrect. I paid for Diminished Value range and whatever to be outcome, requested as a report. Is it wrong to ask/provide a report and receipt for paid services? Second wrong claim was, I was misguided by AAG was nowhere in their website says AAG will not provide report for this paid $75 service request and nor while making the payment over the phone. So, it's a scam to their customers like me. How in a world, any service provider scams the customers for $75 service request, would not provide any verifiable report which I can't use it further? If I am getting the report or money back in week from request date, I will have to let Consumer Protection Court Judge to decide on this scam.Auto Appraisal Group, Inc. Response

It is unfortunate that you misunderstood the difference between the two services. Our website clearly states that our diminished value range service is a verbal estimate of the amount that your vehicle has diminished in value to help you determine if a professional, certified appraisal could support your claim. Our website also explains that should you decide to proceed with the certified appraisal, we will credit part of the $75 towards the appraisal fee. Both services are clearly defined.Review from J. g.

negative person who routinely gives bad reviews. That said my experience with this company was less than spectacular. ???????????? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ???????????????????????????????????????? We were interested in purchasing a **** ******** from a dealership in Georgia. We live in Kentucky so we decided to hire them inspect the vehicle. After they inspected it, based on their report , we agreed to purchase the vehicle. We gave a ******** dollar deposit and purchased plane tickets. When we arrived in Georgia, I found that the oil pressure Guage was non functional, the turn signal was not working and (more minor) all 4 tires had significantly less tire pressure than called for. After I requested a refund via email, Larry B***** called me. He was very rude and unprofessional. At one point he said the lack of air in the tires was *********, just like me.Auto Appraisal Group, Inc. Response

No good deed goes unpunished. You contacted our office to order this inspection, told us you represented a dealership, and asked for a discounted fee, which we gave you. Our agent provided you with a detailed report, photos and consultations to review the condition, including areas showing wear and needing attention. After we provided the service to you, you inspected the car in person and made the decision to purchase the vehicle, getting a discount on the asking price of the vehicle. Your purchase agreement is between you and the seller. We do not guarantee the seller’s vehicle. We do not give refunds after services have been provided.Customer Response

Good deed??? Ha ha ha. You charge way more than your competitors. I mentioned that I was in the car business, not that I represented a dealership (yet another un truth) . I was helping my son purchase a corvette for himself. Long story short, we paid you to check a vehicle out to see if it had any obvious faults. Your company missed three. Oil pressure gauge was inoperable. Turn signal was inoperable. Tire pressures were all very low. When I brought this to your attention, the OWNER of the company called me "garbage". So if you are needing a vehicle checked out and want to be treated like this, this is the the company to consider!Review from D. S.

I hired Auto Appraisal Group to do a appraisal of my ** ******** restomod project in Denver Co. The appraiser came out, Dale L***** from Erie Co. When I got the appraisal back I noticed the low number they came up with. They used a Salvage title for my appraisal which was not correct. When I called the appraiser Dale L*****, he seemed annoyed that I had called him and offered NOTHING . I relocated and moved the ******** to Florida a few months later and the new Fla auto insurance company recommended I get the ******** appraised. I again called Auto Appraisal Group to see if they would redo or maybe even give me a discount since the first appraisal was useless. They offered a $** discount !!! I ended up finding another insurance co who did not need an appraisal so I called Auto Appraisal Group to cancel the appraisal, they had not given me a appraisal date since the local appraiser was out of town. The woman I spoke with seemed concerned that the Colorado appraiser had made the salvage title mistake and said she would look into it and get back with me and not worry about being charged as they only do a hold on my credit card till the car is actually appraised. She never called me back and the credit card was charged even though I never had an appointment date scheduled for the appraisal. This company is just as bad as all the other reviews make it out to be. Extremely disappointed. ****** ********** Noticed my credit card had been charged by Auto Appraisal Group a month later andAuto Appraisal Group, Inc. Response

We regret any misunderstanding with this client. He hired us to appraise a ******** that was in the process of being restored so he could get insurance coverage. We told him that the appraisal would be based on the car’s current partially restored condition. We offered to provide an updated report after the restoration was completed at a reduced rate, if it was performed by the same agent, in the same location. The client moved the car from Colorado to Florida before requesting the updated report. This made it impossible to provide the 2nd appraisal at the discounted rate as previously offered as it would involve a different agent coming from a further distance. We never said this car had a salvage title. That is inaccurate. The builder indicated to us that it was a salvaged vehicle and had come out of a junkyard. When our client mentioned this concern, we did look into it and could have clarified it in an updated report but the client had already cancelled the appointment. We never charged the client for the second appointment. That is another inaccurate statement. His card was only authorized when he placed the order. The hold on his funds was immediately removed after it was called to our attention and no charge was placed against his card. Our company has been appraising special interest vehicles for over 30 years. We work hard to provide our clients with the service they need and offered to help this client save money on the second inspection. It is unfortunate that our attempt to help was rewarded with an inaccurate review against our company.
