Contacted dealership to order a brand new jeep rubicon. Items i wanted to purchase were not added and things I didn't want to purchase were added. Dealership was super unresponsive to updates regarding the status. Salesperson Jeff ********* would not return emails or phone calls. Finally the general manager Paul would return my calls and 4 months later the jeep arrived. Pick up the vehicle and sign up for ceramic coating promised by the dealership. Upon leaving we notice dirt all along the back of the "freshly detailed" vehicle and start to wonder. Get home and realize what a bad Job was done and immediately email to try to receive a refund for the coating. Days later we were told we could not be refunded. Hoping for the best we allowed Hall Jeep to "coat and protect" our brand new vehicle since we could not receive a refund. Upon pickup of the vehicle we noted there are 2 new chips in the paint on the passenger door. They are fresh and down to the primer of the vehicle. It appears that the door was either opened onto something during the cleaning or perhaps the vacuum hose scraped against and chipped the door. Once home, we also found damage to the hood that again, looks to be from a hose or something hitting the vehicle while being cleaned. These were not present upon dropping off the vehicle. Not only is there damage but there is overspray on areas, areas missed inside and out and the top of the vehicle wasn't even touched! We asked for a refund and the damages to be repaired and are now being told they will not repair the damages they caused to the vehicle nor refund the cost of the half way completed "ceramic coating" they sold us. As a dealership I believe it is unacceptable to not return calls or emails and especially unacceptable to damage a customer's property and not repair it. I highly regret ever doing business with Hall Chrysler Jeep and can't express enough how I hope this reaches anyone thinking of purchasing from them.Business response

Today on 1/12/2021 I took the car that I let my daughter drive to Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Chesapeake for an oil change. My daughter told me that she was told the oil change would be ***** I went to speak with the service person who informed me that the reason the oil change cost so much is because of the synthetic oil. Then rudely asked me if we wanted the car back. Here is the problem 1. I bout the 2017 Jeep Renegade from that dealership. Normally when you buy a car from a dealership you get free oil changes. Nope not me. So when it is time to upgrade my Jeep I know for a fact that I won't be getting it from there. 2. When I bought the car it used regular oil NOT synthetic. 3. Lastly when the car went in to get recall work done that dealership at no time asked me Shenina ******* the owner of the Jeep if they could switch from regular oil to synthetic oil. They just took it upon themselves to make that change then have the nerve to just expect me to pay for it, It's bad enough that they sold me a car whose window doesn't close all the way. I accepted that but to just switch the oil without my consent and expect me to keep paying **** until I get rid of it is not fair. I tried to talk with the Service Manager but he found it unnecessary to be bothered to call me back so that we could discuss this.Business response

I went to the dealership and went through the process of purchasing a new vehicle for my Wife . At the end of the process right after I signed the paperwork my Wife showed up at the Dodge Dealership on western branch in Chesapeake Va and told me she didn't want the vehicle. We immediately notified the salesman that we did not want to go through with the deal and they immediately started giving us the run around saying it was out of their hands pretty much forcing us to make a purchase. The car was left at the dealership and I have been trying to reach the General Manager for two days and they are playing games . I have contacted my lawyer and we are preparing to file on this dealership. I have never heard experienced anything like this in my life and am seeking relief.Business response
