4 May 2022. I paid for my 2015 Dodge Durango to be repaired by Southern Chrysler Jeep Dealership. I didn't request a rental/loaner since I didn't think it would an extensive repair. The cost of the repair was ****** give or take. After the repair was completed my truck persisted with the same issue only worst. I tried contacting the service department and for about a week or two, it was no call back from the original service advisor. 20 May 2022 I decided to actually pop up to speak with someone directly about my repair. Because of timing I showed up I didn't request a loaner/rental. 2 June 2022 I requested a rental/loaner since there was no direct diagnosis of my issue. They provided me a rental 4-7 June 2022. 3 June 2022 I was told the left side of my engine is potentially the problem just mirroring the right side which they previously diagnosed and repaired. I was asked to approve a **** diagnosis. 6 June 2022 I was told that's in fact the issue with my vehicle but another ***** would be needed. This screams to me that half the job was done in the first place whether through negligence or an intentional exploitation of extra funds. At this point I have no faith in their diagnosis based on their customer service and business practices.Business response

Had him call customer back at 1:55 pm about this case and customer said he open this before he had spoken to Mr. ***** and he was premature in opening this case. He has called back to BBB and asked them to close this case. He is very happy with the assistance he has received. no further action is neededInitial Complaint

Bought a **** used diesel truck 2 weeks ago. I had already signed all the copious paperwork for MY financing with no extras, not even the "delivery fee" and all the other fees they put on the pricing sheet. Everyone in the dealership was cutting fees to make the deal work. My financing was still about ***** short so I looked at the option they presented and went with it. Then, when I agreed to finance through their bank she reprinted all the "same" paperwork and I went to town signing off. She kept me talking and so did her trainee while I signed. I missed the smile on her face as I apparently signed for 2 separate anti theft systems (Two??) and they sold me "commercial gap" which cost more. Somehow these forms made it into the new stack. Only the signature pages too, odd right? I've made several calls since the purchase date as the dealership needs to provide the forms to cancel these item. What ought to be a simple business process, if they were acting in good Faith, has not occurred. It seems more shady since e they will take NO action to remedy it. no? No idea why they will not return my callsBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/05/09) */ The customer came in and agreed to a car deal with us and signed All documentation with a closing Manager. After a few days the customer had someone else in the car business review his contract. The 3rd party gave Mr. ******* information about not wanting the product we offered him. We have started process for a refund back to the lender that Mr. *******'s contract was sent. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/05/17) */ They seem to be working with me to correct this.
