I recently signed a contract for a new roof replacement. After I signed the contract, I called the salesman, Charlie **** at ###-###-####, and informed him that I needed to cancel the contract due to my family who experienced a lot of damage due to the hurricane. I was very detailed and told him that I had to send my family money. He became very argumentative. He told me that my cancellation period had expired. Then he mentioned *, ****** to be maintained for the cost of the project which he never mentioned before. He threatened me with legal action also. The next day I called his manager to let her know how I received threatening information via text which she agreed that he was unprofessional and a *****; she also stated that he could have handled the situation better. Finally, Y told her that her that Charlie is a "*****", and I don't want him on my personal property. The manager's last sentence to me was "I will let you know if the prices go up" which was not in the contract either. I do not know what Andi **** looks like because we never met in person, but i am fearful of him and his company harming me and my property. I want to be released from this company as soon as possible, and I fear for my life because of the Andi ****, the *****. I do not think he would have threatened a male the way he threatened me, a female. I do not know, if or when I will be able to afford/get a new roof because I do not have the money. It was nice talking with you today Tonya. When I received this letter in the mail to say the least I was truly shocked. After Doctor ***** and I spoke last from what I understood she would be contacting us after the thanksgiving holiday, as she would have the funds back from her family out of state, to schedule the replacement of her new roof. I understood her frustration with our sales representative Charles (not Andi) ****, as he only sent her a text instead of calling Ms. ***** explaining our contract and releasement terms. I think maybe if a phone call would have been made between Ms. ***** and Mr. **** things could have been perceived differently from Ms. *****. I truly believe their conversation was taken out of context. Doctor ***** called our office very concerned, explaining she did not have the money right now as she had a family emergency come up out of state and felt as Mr. **** was "*****ing" her with our procedures. I explained things in a different way for her to understand and sincerely apologized for the way Mr. **** spoke to her. I took him off as her sales representative and explained to her she would not have to deal with him ever again. If she needed anything at all during her time here at Atlantic Craftsman she was more than welcome to reach out to me directly and I would be happy to assist her with any of her questions or concerns. She is still under contract with our company for her new roof replacement that was signed off on 09/28/2022. Our last conversation we had with Ms. ***** again was she would reach out after the holiday to let us know a date that works for her. As of now we have not had any price increases from our manufacturers and suppliers. I explained to her as well if something were to come up that would affect her contract price due to a material increase that I would certainly let her know and as of today **/09/2022 there have been no increases. I sincerely hope we can come to some type of resolution with Doctor ***** and her new roof replacement. We have been in business since *974 and our number one priority is our customers. This response sent to BBB is not accurate. The information has been fabricated to the extent that I am more displeased with Atlantic Craftsman. I never mentioned that I would be ready for the roof installation but indicated that I would know something regarding my status after Thanksgiving.
Again, this company continues to manipulate and try to intimidate customers. I hate I ever contacted Atlantic Craftsman. Women do not become victim to companies like Atlantic Craftsman, please.
I will reiterate that I do not have the money due to my family members losing everything during the hurricane and damages still exists. What human being cannot show empathy or sympathy for those in need? If I called a mortgage company and made a statement that I could no longer afford to buy a house, it would be null and void. Why is this company fighting over $******* if they have been in busy since *974! I thought this type of behavior no longer existed in Virginia Beach.
Whenever I get a roof installed, my children will pay for it and not me. If Atlantic Craftsman was giving away a new roof, I would not want it because I do not like the way they treat perspective customers.
The manager left parts of the message below on my voicemail and I still have it as my evidence. Of course, most of it is fabricated, exaggerated, and misinterpreted.

We received the customers response late afternoon via mail on **/22/2022 .
In reply to Ms. ***** recent response we would like to say that although we value all of customers concerns many of the statements being said regarding our company are completely falsified and misleading. Our company is founded upon treating each and every customer with the utmost respect and dignity no matter their race, gender, culture, demographics, and background. This fabricated story is certainly unnecessary and we would be more than happy to let Dr. ***** out of her contracted obligations with our company if she would be willing to withdrawal this false statement with the BBB and refrain from posting anymore negative feedback/and or reviews on any form of media. If Ms. ***** is ok with this option please just have her release a statement to your company stating she will not write any further negative remarks on any form of social media and/or places of reviews. We wish Dr. ***** and her family the best and hope we are able to finally resolve this in a mature, civil matter of course. As always thank you BBB for allowing customers and businesses to communicate and voice concerns in a civil manner. We value all of our future, current, and past customers.
