I used Apex Appliance Service in February **** and was not very pleased with the company's overall delivery of information and disclosure of any fees for any services rendered. I was charged a fee of $115.00 for a technician ******** that specifically stated he was with Apex Appliances Services to diagnose my appliance needing service (Maytag Washer Machine) with no disclosure of this prior to them coming out to assess the machine. I found this company online via a quick ****** search for washing machine repairs in my region; and it was one of the closest, most fairly rated businesses that matched my results. At no point does the website clearly mention anything regarding an assessment/diagnostic fee, nor does it state directly that you will be charged any type of a diagnostic fee for any services rendered. The technician never disclosed to me how much the fee would be over the phone prior to accepting the job. Upset at the fact that the technician spent less than 10 minutes to look at my washing machine and determine the best course of action is to replace the entire unit with a new one, I reached out to the company to see if they could provide me an itemized receipt of the services and fees being rendered to me since $115 seemed very high for a general inspection fee. The company proceeded to open a claim regarding this issue, stating a representative would be reaching out to me within 24 hours of the claim being opened. After not hearing back from the company 24 hours later, I logged back into the account that was tied to the claim and noticed the claim had been closed out with no resolution being offered to me. The company did not send me an itemized receipt for the services rendered as I requested nor did a representative with Apex Appliance Services reach out to me regarding my concerns with the situation. I am very dissatisfied with this company's ability to communicate and will not be using their services again in the future.
