Company refuses to give me an itemized list for charges of over $*** for items and or services rendered.Business response

Mr. ******* requested an itemized bill. On 11/11/21 we provided him the itemized insurance estimate that was approved by the insurance company with complete breakdown and we also provided an itemized change order estimate reflecting the credits and additional work. We emailed Mr. ******* on 11/24/22 the break down of what the insurance owed and what was due from him out of pocket. Mr. ******* requested an itemized break down of the additional work from his out of pocket expenses which is on the estimate. We sent another email on 1/31/22 and highlighted the credits we credited him back. The estimate is itemized. This is what we provided and is provided to all clients. We explained in great detail in email and verbally on multiple dates. We will be happy to attach the email that was sent on 1/31/22 with the highlighted credits and the breakdown of what the insurance owed and what the homeowner owed. The change order estimate is acceptable in the industry as the itemized breakdown. The invoice is billed off the change order estimate and is not itemized. The change order estimate is the work we performed.Customer response

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
A simple list of the work done on the change order with prices charged seems to be a reasonable request. The 9 page list of $****** worth of work is very confusing to me, my accountant and tax agencies.
