      We booked our trip in January. We made plans reservations etc. Upon arriving the condo @ **** ******* *** *** aka ocean colony smelled of urine. The ac on the third and second floor was not working. We open windows and doors to air it out. When putting sheets on bed seen the yellow urine stains on mattress protector. The second floor bath tub was clog. The third floor had a bad leak from the shower head. The step off of the patio was broken. Seaside vacation did sent plumber, ac tech, there was over 8 people from there company or other companies. I ask for a refund. I was told I could get ** percent if I took down my reviews. I am not getting slander as if I am a criminal or con artist. I work at a school you have to habe a clean background to do so. I've never sue anyone in my life. This was the second time I left ohio. We cleaned the unit for hours I communicated with Dorothy everyday. After I post my reviews I was attacked. Also i felt the 10 percent was a joke. Please look at these reviews and yelp. It's easy to habe a 5 star review when you only let them be posted.

      UNPROFESSIONAL! They advertise that they manage properties when all they do is collect rent and take their share! Anything that was requested of them by us, the owners, was met with resistance and ignoring our requests. Poor communication is also one of their traits. Never did inspections of our property or walk throughs when we transitioned from one long term tenant to another; This last transition we were told that the tenants took very good care of our home and nothing was the matter; From past experience with them, we felt it best to drive four hours to check our house ourselves; It was obvious that they never did the exit walk through. There was a ripped screen in the front of the house, broken window with the chord hanging in the sun room, the sliding screen door was off the tracks leaning against the house, the bath tub spout in the master bath was pulled out. When discussed with Seaside Vacations, they said this was all normal wear and tear and should be on us. But why wasn't any of it documented and reported to us?? The house was extremely dirty. All of this occurred one day prior to our new tenant moving in. It was totally embarrassing to us to have our home look like this for a new tenant! Also, we requested numerous times, the checklists from each tenant when they took possession or vacated the property and they would NEVER provide it to us. We also asked them to get us estimates to fix and make the property better and more presentable and were told that it wasn't their responsibility to get estimates even though we were going to pay for any work we requested. The owners are VERY RUDE and confrontational, and they act like they are the owners and they get to say what goes on with our home. We have the emails and texts to prove everything that we have said. There is a reason there are so many complaints on various sites about this company and its owners. BEWARE!!!

      We rented a condo June 19th-June 23rd from Seaside Vacation. The condo was at Century one ***at ocean city ***
      Upon arrival at condo it had many issues and wasn't clean. Do have videos and pictures. Seaside Vacations was notified and maintenance was at our condo Monday thru Wednesday. We had broken chairs, cereal under couch, rips in screens, curtains hanging off and dirty,floor molding not secure. The biggest issue was the one bathroom light that they couldn't fix and left live wire hanging without turning breaker off huge fire hazard(have video) told us to close door not use bathroom as couldn't get electrician to condo. Didn't offer to move us out of unsafe condo. We asked someone come from office besides maintenance to look at our issues they said no time. We spoke to Russell and Dorothy and only thing addressed was the broken plastic chairs brought us 4 new ones.
      We stayed in a fire hazard condo for 4 days as it was told numerous times how unsafe even maintenance guy Justin was surprised we weren't moved. We were offered ** that we declined. We want full compensation of what we paid for 4 days of being in a condominium almost *** we shouldn't had all the issues. Seaside Vacations did not do correct inspection of this condo or addressing the issues with the owner. Will never rent from this company again.

      Here at Seaside Vacations, we pride ourselves on superior customer service and responsiveness. Susan arrived on Sunday June 19 and stayed through her departure date of June 23rd. On Monday June 20th we received a call that Susan had some issues upon spending some time in the condo. Namely, a couple pieces of cereal under the couch, a chair that broke "while she was sitting on it" on the balcony, and a light out in the bathroom downstairs, as well as a screw loose on one of the barstools.

      We offered to send someone over to clean up the couple pieces of cereal under the couch but she declined. We did send maintenance over to check on the other issues. Maintenance was quickly able to tighten the screw in the barstool and got her 4 new chairs for the balcony. He tried replacing the light bulb in the light fixture in the bathroom but that did not fix the issues. When checking the light fixture itself he discovered that one of the wires had broken off which is why it was not working. We had to have an electrician come out to install a new light. The electrician was going to be a day or two before they could get there which we notified Susan of right away. The wires that were in the ceiling were not a danger, the wire itself was not exposed and if they touched anything that would not have been an issue since the insulation, which is the polymer plastic layer on the outside of the conductor that isolates it from external contacts, was still in place. This was confirmed by an electrician. The way this bathroom is situated, there is another light that offers plenty of light into that area and could have been used. The issue was rectified as quickly as possible, there was another bathroom that could also be used. Susan told us repeatedly when we tried to check in on her or come by that she was out on the beach. That is exactly what we want our guests to do and we are glad that she was able to enjoy her time at the beach, but taking that into account, there is nothing that was done wrong or unsatisfactory on our behalf.

      Guest threatened to leave negative reviews unless she received a free vacation - well, there you have it. We went above and beyond to attend to this guest, but all she wanted from the beginning was a free vacation. We do not take kindly to being threatened into having to give a refund due to a few minor issues, which we attended to IMMEDIATELY.

      Special Request Just spoke with Susan, I gave her the offer of *** as compensation for her issues with this unit. she declined and said she is expecting at least HALF of her stay for being down barstool. also, for being inconvenienced with "someone coming in and out" during her stay - which she requested.

      Special Request Reached out to guest, told her several people are working to resolve her issues. The guest still seems to think she is entitled to some sort of compensation. She is currently at the beach, i told her i was working on getting an electrician., and will call her as soon as I know when one will be coming. She did mention again about her ankle, and that she had injured it. She said she was going to see her doctor, once she returned home. I explained to her that i was concerned that she will further injure her ankle, by walking on the beach, and up and down stairs from now till Thursday. She said her niece is a nurse, and she is with her. again refusing to see a Doctor.

      Special Request Guest reached out this morning (Monday) and stated that one of the plastic outdoor chairs broke with her sitting in it the night before and she injured her ankle, she also had other concerns such as a bathroom light out and a few chairs needing tightening. Maintenance was dispatched and addressed what he could, the light needs an electrician which Jason is coordinating for hopefully Tuesday. I asked if she had her ankle looked at and she stated that she didn't want to ruin her vacation and would go when she returned home, one of her party is a nurse. We are working to address all other concerns and will be staying in contact with guest. Guest continually repeated that she expects some compensation for issues and wants a free vacation.
