      Company will not honor warranty. I have a problem with a John Deere lawn/garden tractor 580 I had it to dealership in 2021 five times first visit I asked for it to be repaired dealership said I had bent blade on mowing deck a new set of blades were installed. The service cost me $200 The equipment has a 4 year/400 hour bumper to bumper warranty. Mower had fewer that 100 hrs This didn’t fix problem. I returned it to dealership a number of times they replaced a number of parts under mower without improving the performance of the equipment I had mower to Wytheville dealer at least 3 times in 2022 . I was told by service manager that this mower didn’t cut well on certain settings I called complain dept at John Deere headquarters the person there promised that she would get to bottom of problem. This person told me that the service representative for this area looked at mower and didn’t see anything wrong with mower. I’ve had Meade tractor service people to look at my lawn and agreed I have a problem. I also know of other Meade tractor customers who are having same problem. Unless they’ve got a crystal ball they can’t just “look “ at mower and see a problem. My request; replace mower deck or buy back for initial cost ($6300+) I have a bill of sale I’ve owned John deer equipment for years and Never had a problem. the ********** dealership did not show on your list but is owned by Meade tractor. I took mower to ******** dealership with no satisfactory results. I now have 200 hours on mower and don’t want warranty to expire before problem solved. ***** *****

      I am writing in response to the below email that was forwarded to me on Tuesday. Since receiving the email I have tried to do some fact finding to understand better the situation. As a result, I decided it best to reach out directly to Mr. ***** Wednesday September 27, 2022 around 10:30 AM. I had a very productive and pleasant conversation with Mr. *****. Our plan to move forward is to work to trade Mr. ***** out of the machine in question. We take several machines to Mr. *****’ property to allow him to demo. Upon completion of the demo, he will pick the one that he feels performs to his satisfaction. We will then work on trade numbers that Mr. ***** feels is fair. Thank you for bringing this to my attention and please don’t hesitate to reach out with further questions. Sincerely,****
