I have tried to cancel this membership for nearly three years! Finally, I got someone on the phone last month at this location who told me to send a certified letter to their address requesting cancellation. I sent the letter (certified) in October (last month) to the address listed on the website and in the app (see photo 2). The certified letter was rejected and returned for insufficient address (see photo 3). I stopped attending in 2020 due to COVID and health issues; I moved away July 2021 and did not want to transfer to a new location. Each monthly payment is auto-debited from my account and this company has taken over $750 in three years. I really need that money to be put to use instead of paying for a service I have not used in over 3 years.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
At this time, I have not been contacted by Planet Fitness in ANY REGARD for complaint ID ********. In addition to submitting this complaint, I submitted one directly to the company AND completed a survey which emphasized my dissatisfaction. Still, I have not received any contact from this company - phone call, email, text, message in app, nothing.

This planet fitness branch has been charging me 10 dollars a month for over two years when I cancelled on 5/15/2021. My membership number was: **********. In total I have been charged 28 times for $10.00 a piece. I am filing this complaint because Planet Fitness insists that customers jump through hoops to get any resolution out of them. I have the legal right to cancel subscriptions and memberships I choose to. I am seeking an immediate cancellation of these charges and back charges. I have the documentation to prove my cancellation if need be.Customer response
