This contractor was recommended by my realtor with an understanding that the oil tank would be removed by A specific date for closing. ********************* requested payment prior to work being completed, which he received immediately. ************** emailed me and said he could not complete the assignment because of the weather. I offered two additional days that he could complete the work where the weather was optimal and would still be prior to closing. He declined stating now he was not able to get A truck. I was never informed that he did not have his own materials. The circumstances changed from the weather to not having the materials. I Reiterated that I had to have the job done before the closing date. He reiterated that he could not do it by that date. I emailed ************** informing him that since he would not be able to do the job (in which he never started) by the specified date, that I would have to get A different contractor to complete the job. I asked for my money back. He never responded afterwards. I followed up with 2-3 additional emails and copied the realtor on the email. ************** never responded. He called one Saturday morning extremely irate, irrational, and with A rude undertone. He yelled the entire time. I asked again for my money back. It has been over A month, and not only did ********************* not complete the job, he never returned my money.
