We were looking for a quartz countertop fabricator. We researched several companies and received our bids. Neka wasn't the highest bid nor the lowest. Their Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining was impressive. The salesman was very pushy to purchase their quartz at an additonal $6K verses buying it from East ******************** My issue with the company is after installation there was a 1 inch gap between the wall and the quartz backsplash. I worked with ***** their engineer responsible for measuring and installation management of the job to get this corrected. The solution was to have a small 17" x .5" x 1.25" to cover the edge of the backsplash. Neka (*************) said they no longer had a remnant and I'd have to wait for another client. It has been over six month and Neka's only solution was to provide a white quartz which wouldn't match. I suggested and provided other fabricators that just completed a job using the same quartz material. ***** said "I know my higher *** are not going to buy a remnant for a little strip". At this point, I tried to contact the owner but he never returned my message on LinkedIn. Therefore, I was forced to contact these other fabricator's myself. It cost me a $100 to have the edge piece made. The fact that Neka would not go out of their way to make the client happy in the end for $100 should tell you something about their company.
