On 7/15/22, the company Notarized charged me $50. I received a link to their services - my landlord had used the service for a notary and next the same document needed my signature notarized to complete a document. Their site says its $25 for a notary and an additional $10 for a second notarize signature. After the document was notarized I was asked to pay $50. I asked why and was told I had to pay for the first notary (landlord), which at no point prior to paying was explained. I have sent over a dozen emails and no resolution over 2 weeks. Both the landlord paid $50 and I paid $50. This company misleads customers of pricing on their site, does not inform customers upfront of the cost, double charges multiple customers for one service, ignores client complaints and has not refunded me in a timely manner for their billing error. There is no phone number to reach the company, I have asked via email for a manager several times and received automated messages. No one has contacted me to resolve. I need a full refund of $50 - due to their bill error. And misleading customers on their website it using their services will cost $25 for a notary or possibly $10 more for an additional person is misleading. The notary should explain in the meeting what the fee is PRIOR to conducting the transaction. This is not fair to customers. (Neither their email nor employee explained I would be paying for the first notary by my landlord. Then I found out my landlord paid $50 too. Why are they charging a $100 total - this is double billing and unclear records that each of us paid the full amount separately.) I need a full refund and concern how many other customers are unknowingly being double charged for the same service.
