I hired Fuse Electric to rewire my entire house. I paid $3000 as a down payment before they started working. The total would have been $5900. They were supposed to rewire every room, every wire in the house. They sent a contract prior to beginning so there was no misunderstanding about what was supposed to be done. *****, from Fuse worked on the house from 7/10 to 7/14. He left telling me the job was completed. On examination, I immediately saw outlets that had not been replaced, broken dry wall spots, and exposed live wires. I contacted the owner, Jesse, and he came out Sunday 7/16. The owner said that the wires had not been replaced throughout the house and that he would remedy this situation. The next day, he texted me saying he had spoken with ***** and the wires had been replaced. This was already starting to make me very uncomfortable because when he came in person, Jesses said the wiring had not been done in certain places. ****** *** **** **** ******** * ********* ******* **** *** ******** Jesse's wife, *****, then told me she would not refund the total amount, but only $2000. When I made the dispute for 1000, the 2000 refund was pending in the account. The credit card company advised me the vendor had canceled the refund after the dispute was sent. The credit card company viewed the evidence and sided with me. I was left in unsafe living conditions. I STILL DO NOT HAVE A WORKING BATHROOM LIGHT!!!! The money to rewire my house has been taken without the job done and now I am left in a situation where the house could burn down because he only replaced some of the wires and they were all passed the point of needing it.

Ms. ******,Thank you for your advisement & letter. I would like to thank you for hiring us although this project & relationship didn't go as planned for anyone. Your description of the rewire we both agreed to isn't described accurately in your note. Per our estimate/invoice provided we agreed that: "A rewire includes all new wire being pulled & connected to all existing switches, receptacles, & fixtures throughout the residence" If given the chance by you to finish your work, you would have these items all resolved. We touched based with you on the 2nd day to see how things were going & you said you hadn't really been by the home to look around, because you weren't living there & you would check things out. You advised me later things seemed well, but you had some questions about some outlets so we could move forward to finish. When our employee told you he was done, he meant he was done pulling new wire to the existing receptacles & switches. This didn't mean he was done with the entire project. We still have to return to trim out what we began. You currently have use of new receptacles, switches, & wire in your home installed by us (we have those photos). The remaining items left, you forbid us to complete are your vanity light installation, a porch light, & a back porch light. The reason those items are left "undone" is because you forbid us in every possible way of returning to finish them. *** ******* *** ******** ** **** **** *** ****** *** **** * * ******** *** ******* *** ******** *** **** **** ** *** ****** **** * *** Moving forward, I offered you a 2,000 refund so you would stop your harassing accusations, emails, texts, & reviews of our business. Sometimes as a business, it is better to take a loss than argue with an unreasonable situation & person(s). When I sent the 2,000 refund to the card, stated in an email "I absolutely did not accept a refund of 2000. I am waiting on an answer from my attorney." The 2,000 refund I sent was rejected by the credit card company because the cardholder or card service had a dispute come through for the full 3,000. Fuse Electrical didn't initiate any dispute or transaction refund of 3,000. I'm not saying you or the cardholder did either, but what I am stating is we did not. That isn't something we have the power to do. We are an electrical contractor & have nothing to do with card services & how their refunds perform. Once that action of the 3,000 dispute occurred, the card service took the 2,000 I initiated & placed a 1,000 hold. Then, per the card holder & merchant policies, I had to submit all emails, photos, & texts from you & Fuse Electrical LLC. The card service returned 1,000 to you of the 2,000. That is & was out of my control & the card service told me so, because I called them. Once this entire situation arose again late December 2023 because of your BBB & ** review, I again offered you the option to allow us to return & finish what we began. You refused. I offered to hire a drywall person to repair the drywall where your walls crumbled from moisture damage when we put in new receptacles, you refused. That is the second time I offered to hire a drywall repair person at our expense & you refused. When you go into walls to place new wire, damage to walls occurs & we try & keep that as minimal as possible with the understanding the homeowner makes the drywall repair at your expense. We aren't drywall contractors. I offered three times to repair the drywall at our expense & you & your daughter refused again December of 2023. I offered to mail you a check for 1,000 in December of 2023 to arrive by January 15, 2023. You refused & demanded all 3,000 in return which wasn't even the initial offer I made to settle this situation down. We cannot justify giving you a 3,000 refund when you have new wiring, receptacles, & switches in use in your residence, no matter if we were forbidden by you to finish or not. The material is there & someone is using it to turn on lights or plug in cords, etc. Additionally, in December I even offered to pull an electrical permit from your county & schedule an electrical inspection for our work so you would be assured everything was as it should be if you allowed us to finish. Refused again. Also, a live wire must be "on" to be live. If you aren't turning the switch or receptacle on, the wire isn't "live" (again it would be there if you'd allowed us to complete the work) Your electrical panel is up to date, so therefore unless someone purposefully initiates a situation of fire that is a moot point. I have offered since July to let us return & finish what you forbid us to do, I have offered you 1,000 more that the credit card company didn't give you, I have offered you drywall repair. I have offered these things numerous times & the only resolution you want is 3,000. However you already have our materials in use, the labor to use what you are able to power up, & 1,000 of your initial deposit returned to you. In all my years of customer & complaint resolution, I have not encountered a customer or situation I couldn't resolve until this one. I am confident in our choices to provide you with several viable options repeatedly to resolve this matter on numerous occasions.  Wishing you all the best***** * *******Fuse Electrical LLC
