This merchant should provide the gym service from the starting date, Aug 4, 2022, but I could not make any reservation via the system. They refuse to do the refund and never responded to emails since then, so I dispute the transaction and never go to their gym. Now they called me so many times to collect more money and threatened that if I did not pay it, they would sell it to collection agencies and let it harm my credit score.Business response

Unfortunately, this customer decided to file a chargeback for services that she signed up for. When this happens, the customer is immediately granted their money back while the credit card company investigates the claim. Any correspondance the customer is receiving is from the third party investigating the chargeback, not from our studio. Again, she has received her full money back several months ago, so we are unsure why complaints continue to be filed.
At no point in time was she denied services. She had an active membership for 30 days for which she signed up voluntarily for in person on 6/23/22 and agreed in writing, to all terms with signature. This agreement is attached below.
I am not actively pursuing any further action from the customer and have informed her that one a chargeback is issued, it is out of my hands and up to the credit card company to investigate. The funds have already been taken from my bank account and returned back to her as of July 2022 in addition to multiple processing fees that I have absorbed as a business while the chargeback process is playing out.
We will respect the decision of the credit card company once complete and hope the customer will do the same. We certainly regret that this customer was unsatisfied and thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention. Our focus will continue to be on providing the best customer service possible as we enter into our 10th year of business in this community.
