      I ordered a furniture rental package from CORT which is a 3 room package consist of bed room , dinning room and living room.. The package rental cost was 398.72$ per month and the initial deliver was reduced with the promo code.. after ordering I received an e mail confirmation about the transaction. based on the agreement **** was suppose to give me a delivery appointment at least 24 hours a head of time. On December 14t I received a call from CORT driver telling me that he is on the way to my apartment to deliver the furniture. I was surprised about getting such a short notice while per the agreement they need to give me the delivery notice at least 24 hour. I ran back to my apartment to be their for delivery and on arrival they told me that due to lack of supply they brought a bed room with a dresser mirror that need to be fixed to the wall. I told them that I ordered one that stand alone and the apartment community does not give permission to attach any thing to the wall. so they ended delivering only the dinning room and the living room and they took the bed room back with them to the warehouse to change. The furniture I received from CORT were very low quality in very bad condition contrary to the contract that saying they deliver furniture in excellent condition.. I kept waiting for very long time to receive a call regarding the bed room set. I contacted the accounts manager her name is ************************* by phone and e mails and she never gave me any confirmed date, then again she called me on the very short notice which is less than 24 hours telling me the the bed room will be delivered .I told her this is the second time you are notifying me about the delivery in less than 24 hours and due to being at work away from my apartment at the time of delivery I told her that the delivery date need to be changed and i need to be given at least 24 hours notice. The account manager rescheduled the delivery to another date however she went and charged me an appointment cancellation fees of 185.00 $ although it was their mistake as they did not give me enough notice of delivery per the contract and I never agreed to pay any extra fees. I talked with account manager and her supervisor many times but they refused to solve the problem. I consider CORT behavior is fraudulent and they are trying to collect money from me for no reason rather than their own mistake and inability to deliver their business in a responsible manner.

      We had a housefire 1/28/22 and were put into temporary housing by ***. Part of that process included *** using CORT furniture rental for temporary furniture until ours were returned/received insurance compensation to purchase new. The company delivered furniture in 2/2022. Furniture arrived torn and damaged. Overall very poor condition. Photos Sent to *** with a complaint about the quality. CORT broke a ceiling fan upon delivery & poorly installed washing machine that led to flooding of the first floor. It took CORT delivering 5 different dryers (all broken) until they removed them and we got ours. 6/2022 we asked for furniture to be removed. CORT made it extremely difficult to schedule pick up. It appeared that they wanted to collect from insurance as long as possible. They demanded a 450.00 special pick up fee for 3 hour pick up window. They arrived 3 hours early even after special fee. They removed items and left empty boxes and packing supplies on floor. Later I receive a call from *** stating that we were loosing 750.00 of 1000.00 deposit due to a damaged sofa and missing items. Keep in mind items are still at the property. They never asked for the items or even said goodbye. One being a vacuum that has been broken since delivery that they were charging us 186.00. *** provided us a missing items list. They seem to be charging us 450.00 for a sofa that was documented delivered torn and so used that it had several patched spots. It has become clearly evident that CORT had no intention of ever returning our security deposit. We have been continuously victimized by CORT since doing business with them. I truly feel that they are accustomed to dealing with clients that are unknowledgeable on their own personal rights. I am filing a complaint so they hopefully will not be able to further victimize others. Finally, they have agreed to come to my workplace and receive the left behind items. They were demanding that I take another day off work to meet them at my home.

      These people took my money , about $1200 and didn't give me the furniture I paid for so I asked for a refund and I've yet to get the money back OR the furniture and were now in month 3
