Sold me a faulty used vehicle; a 2018 Land River Range Rover Velar 1). When had to get a Maryland inspection vehicle failed; had to replace 2 back tires (Completed) - $619.92 2). 1 week after that; the check engine light came on, and I had to replace 2 sensors - (Completed) $1,177.32 3). The two back brakes and rotors had to be replaced (Did not complete yet) - $1,233.31Business response

As a Virginia dealer, each pre-owned vehicle sold passes the Virginia state safety inspection. As a Virginia dealer, we do not guarantee passing of other state's inspections as the criteria is different. We understand the frustration in the check engine light for sensors. This was not brought to our attention prior the the work having been performed by the customer. Had the customer involved our dealership, we would have investigated if the sensors are part of the emissions system, therefore covered under the factory warranty.
We do apologize for the inconvenience and will provide a one-time goodwill compensation of $500.Initial Complaint

On September 21, 2021 I took my 2016 Mazda **** to Brown's Mazda Fairfax to have the oil changed, tire rotation and the Virginia Safety Inspection done. They provided me a courtesy car to go to work and I went back in the end of the day to get my car back. I paid a total of $138.79 for all three services I needed. When I got home, I notice the rim on the front, passenger side, where it has a big scratch, was still in the same place. The next day I emailed the service advisor asking about the tire rotation. She emailed me back saying it was done accordingly with the tire tread depth. They measure the tires and depending on the tread depth, they could have rotated them front two to back, cross rotate, or from side to side. I told her it wasn't done because the the rim on the front, passenger side, where it has a big scratch, was still in the same place. I asked for a refund but so far I didn't get my money back.Business response

On September 30, 2021 we issued a refund check to ************************ which was mailed no later than Monday, October 4, 2021.
It is common for mailed items to take a longer time to reach the recipient. Should she not receive the refund check by October 25, 2021, please reach out to me personally and I will issue another check.
