      Rude, invasive, unprofessional, and misleading sales staff and company. After spending over an hour responding to questions about my home and financial status -- so many that I asked if they could confirm that they were not phishing -- I received confirmation for an appointment for a technician to provide an estimate for two patio doors on the lower two levels of my townhouse in Alexandria VA. One day later, I started getting annoying text messages that I had to call them about my confirmed appointment. After three attempts to get through, and waiting for someone to pick up on a call I was making at their request, I finally got a terrible "service" representative who said that because I live in a 4-story townhouse they could not keep the appointment due to "safety" reasons, and that it is their "policy" never to work on such townhouses in the "Capitol area". First, they knew before scheduling the appointment that I live in a 4-story townhouse. Second, the appointment was to replace two patio doors on the lower two levels, so no "safety" issues -- nothing being replaced on upper levels. The representative called me "rude" for questioning the rationale, and for suggesting that it was annoying and unprofessional to make appointments after securing extensive information and then cancelling on the basis of that same information. He refused to send me written confirmation of the reason they were cancelling my appointment, preferring to accuse me of being difficult for wanting that information after spending my own scarce time making the appointment and answering their extensive questioning. Their rating is already poor, and I simply want to warn others that they are unreliable, disingenuous and rude. I will never do business with these people and would not recommend them to anyone else. And I wonder if it is legal to deny service to legitimate customers based on housing characteristics unrelated to the work. No other company has raised this issue.

      Constantly calling me despite my telling them to remove my name and number from their list and not to call me again. I am also on the do not call registry, but they continue.

      We would give them zero stars but that option is not available. We contracted with Anderson renewal windows after interviewing three companies. Our only concern was the noise level coming from street outside our master bedroom. They all claimed they had a superior product but we went with Anderson b/c they assured us of a major if not complete reduction of all noise (traffic, dogs barking, people talking etc) After waiting 9 months, they arrived to install. Four of the windows did not have the tempered and laminated glass we paid for. We had to get our attorney involved to receive a call from a VP from Anderson. After the second installation we still have no noticeable reduction of noise after paying >$14K for 8 windows!

      I ordered two windows a door on September 07, 2021. I was later informed that the product was going to be delivered by November 24th, day before thanksgiving. I trusted the company and I hosted thanksgiving at my house. I had a confirmation about the orders on November 10 that the products were going to be delivered on November 24th between 0800-1000 AM. Then I got a phone call on November 12, informing me that the door was going to be late due to material shortage, I was not happy but my main problem was the windows so I said ok. I didn’t hear anything from the company so I called them on November 22nd to confirm the time they deliver on the 24th. I was then informed that they don’t have the windows and they don’t have a date they will deliver. When I tried to cancel my order, they said I was still under the contract window December 15/2021. At the same time they said they don’t have a date they will deliver the windows and door. I expected better from the company because of its reputation. I understand there is material shortage, but that’s why I waited more than 2 months. This is totally unacceptable. When I called for the refund, they said they are going to keep 1/3d of the price which is >3000$. This is unfair, dishonest, and I am really dissatisfied by how my case is being handled. When I called to complain about it, I get a text message saying the sales manager is going to reach out to me ASAP. Today is December 09, I have not heard from him. When I sent an email today I was told the operations manager is going to reach out to me. I just want to cancel everything and look for a windows installer that will actually keep their end of a contract.
