On March 31, 2023 I had an appointment to replace a broken onlay done by an affiliated office about 1.5 year ago. Under the warranty, I was told I could have it replaced at the Falls Church office for free. During the procedure, I was told I would need a more expensive crown replacement but I could receive a credit for the money I paid for the ($821). The office manager (*****) would just have to talk to the other manager (***). I said ok. After the procedure, ***** then told me that she could not guarantee a credit and I would have to pay the full $1200 amount for the service. I disputed the charge but was told they could look into the charge however I would need to put payment down now and then get refunded later in order to avoid going to collections. I paid half and put myself on a payment plan for the rest. I then receive a call from the office manager ************* was told that I was not supposed to be charged $1200. I shouldve been credited the amount of the onlay and my total payment shouldve been around $380. I was told by *** that I should hear back from the Falls Church office and have a refund credited for the amount I paid. Weeks pass and no refund was processed. I called Falls Church Modern Dentistry and ***** said she heard of no such thing. I asked if she had contacted the manager *** and she said she wrote two emails. She then said if I wanted him to call her, I should contact that office. I told her that it makes no sense for me to be the middleman and she needed to contact that office. I have since sent two messages with no response. I still have pending charges for this bill. Please help me rectify this situation and advocate for a fair billing.

Beware of this business and their play with words and their practices. I went in for a cleaning and was handed $1800 of recommended procedures. The doctors always recommend more costly procedure, but never advise unsuspecting clients these procedures can be refused. After my daughter had wisdom teeth extracted and a cleaning a few months ago by this dentist, a host of pills were issued to combat any infection that *** arise. A few months after, a cleaning was recommended by the dentist, and scheduled. A basic cleaning turned into 3 procedures. Oral Irrigation, fluoride and a cleaning. DECEPTIVE UPSELLING. The oral irrigation is to combat infection. This was done a few months ago. IT IS ALL ABOUT UPSELLING. Whatever it takes. They recommended a mouth guard for me, a $700 item for teeth grinding. As a 62 year old there *** be a tooth or two that show signs of grinding as they said, but they never showed it to me. My take is till the end of my time, the grinding of my teeth will not grind to my gums, even living to 100years old. There is a thin line between professional recommendations and pressure selling. If you decide to use them, please get a second opinion from another dental professianl. It will save you thousands of dollars.
