Incident occurred on 04/28/2022 1:30PM:Took my dog to Happy Tails yesterday afternoon, dog came back with red irritation on belly, shaking his head constantly due to an irritated ear, and upon looking inside of his ear, it was red and slightly swollen. Upon initially asking the groomer named Andrea, who is apparently also the manager, "how did this happen?" She responds with "I don't know." I am not understanding how the manager/individual who groomed the dog doesn't know how something happened while the animal was in their care. My dog was with you for the duration of the time that you were grooming him. That makes no sense. Upon calling her this afternoon to get more info she:1) Completely denied any sort of responsibility and tried to explain to me that the dog had ear irritation prior to coming in? WHICH HE DIDN'T. It is evident that once he got home he was shaking his ear, I checked and inside of his ear was red and swollen - A clear sign of water into the ear canal. Now I need to pay more money and time to get this new issue taken care of. 2) Claimed she, too, has dogs as if this adds to her credibility 3) Didn't even address the red irritation on my pup's belly AT ALL, even when directly asked about it 4) Said she doesn't have time for this and hangs up the phone because she can't handle any negative feedback about the services she provides It is clear that the owner doesn't have time to account for her own actions and doesn't really care about the pets she is handling nor the service that was provided. Additionally, if you check out other reviews on **** (https://www.*******************************************************************), you can see it is evident that there are SEVERAL cases, which unfortunately, seem to be much worse cases and in every situation the owner, ******, claims that the dogs "came in that way" and denies responsibility and does not reach back, but attempts to avoid any confrontation about her inappropriate behavior.
