I booked an online appointment with this salon for my 15 year old daughter. I selected the service that I wanted, which was a partial foil. I chose that primarily because cost was lower and I didn't want to invest a lot of money in a full head of highlights. I discussed with the hairdresser what we wanted and made a decision. She then talked with the owner (without me) and they discussed color, formulation etc. I was not a part of that conversation but I was close by. After two hours I asked if they were still doing a partial foil because it looked like a LOT of foils were in her hair. That's when the hairdresser told me that it was a full foil, which is significantly more expensive. I spoke with the owner and she informed me they made that decision, but it was NOT discussed with me (who was the person paying for my child who is a minor). The owner made me pay for the full service even though I was not asked permission to do that on my daughter. To me it was terrible business because even a car body shop knows to call the customer before performing any repairs on a car to check price. The appointment was on Saturday December 17th at 12:00 pm
