Summit did unauthorized work, removing bat houses that my son and I had made together. They threw away the bat houses even though I had requested they not be touched. Summit admitted their mistake and offered to discount their services by 1/3rd the price of new comparable bat houses. At a minimum they should have offered to replace like with like. I gave them several chances to make this right but, even though they took responsibility for the mistake, they are unwilling to fix the issue.

I can't say enough good things about Summit Environmental Solutions. They recently helped me with an attic insulation and roof repair job, and I'm beyond impressed. I had Ms. **** come out and inspect my home for various pest control services, including ants getting inside my house and a wasp nest on my deck furniture. After removing the wasp nest, she thoroughly inspected the entire deck under every piece of furniture and every nook and cranny to make sure there wasnt any other nests left. Her ant treatment got rid of our problem overnight, which was like a miracle to us because no other ant remedies weve tried have ever worked this well. Ms. **** was also very friendly, professional and transparent, letting us know exactly what she was doing and why. We couldnt be happier with Summit Environmental Solutions, and we fully recommend them for ******** problem you might be having!

I had a squirrel that entered my attic from chewing through a pipe boot on one of the exhaust pipes on the roof. The salesman told me that they would trap it, seal all the openings, and put wire cages over top of 3 attic fans and 4 roof vents. The cost for all of this work would be $*****. I asked in detail about these wire cages. I thought I had a really good understanding of exactly what the final result would look like. I was satisfied that this would prevent a squirrel from ever coming back into my attic. They spent a week trying to trap the squirrel from outside on the roof. They were never able to trap it. After a week of trying to trap it, they covered the broken pipe boot with a piece of sheet metal. One problem…. The squirrel was still in the attic. It went crazy, did more damage in my attic, and eventually found another way out. Now I’m at the point where they tell me everything is fixed. However, what I thought I understood from the salesman is not hot what they fixed. I thought the salesman told me they would be putting wire cages over top of all my roof exhaust pipes, which would cover the entire fixture, to include the pipe boot. They did not do that. They simply put a cap on top of the 2” pipes… well at least they tell me they did. I’m still waiting for pictures on that. I only have a picture showing that they did it on 1 pipe. In any case, I’m now out $*****. The squirrel was never caught. If it wants to, it can make its way up onto my roof again, chew through the new pipe boot, and re-enter my attic. The only reason I agreed to pay so much for this service is that I was satisfied that the work they would do would basically make it impossible for that squirrel to re-enter my attic. The point of this review is: Don’t make the same mistake I made. Make sure you have a VERY CLEAR understanding of what they say they will do. I thought I had that understanding, but I guess I was mistaken….or I was lied to.
