My father took my vehicle here back in Oct to have my drivers side window repaired. The window would pop of the tracks, sometimes not even going all the way and other times, going all the way back up but being popped off the track so air came in from the top left corner. The shop charged over $150 prior to see what internal problem was effecting the window. While my car was in this time, they also put new wipers on my car for $15 each plus a $130 diagnostic fee. when i got my car back the next day it immediately got stuck and would not go all the way up the first time i rolled it down. My father took the car back to the shop, was told a new motor needed to be put in the door to power the window, and that would fix the problem. About five weeks after my window stopped rolling all the way up and was still popping off track in the upper left corner, the shop refused to talk about refunding the work because they no longer make my make of vehicle, the window could not be repaired because the track inside the door was bent causing the window to pop off the tracks. exactly my initial complaint.the mechanic i spoke to tried to make me believe that the moter that was replaced and the bent track were entirely seperate issues. Moreso despite my car literally only having new wipers $700 later and the window never being functional, the shop assured me i still have to pay for the labor that was done on my vehicle (despite no actual product being measured) and i had to pay for the motor that was placed in my door, even though that clearly was not the issue. I am a student and disability studies teacher living on a very tight budget and was only able to save up for these repairs thru student loans. I am now out over $700 for a multitude of labor and parts that were not only entirely unnecessary but only to have my car be in the exact same position it was in before it went to this shop. This loss of income is devastating

tornFirst time the car came in for problem was 05/30/2020, fixed the window by replacing the window motor and regulator. Car came back in 10/04/2022 with window problem again. Warranty on repairs is 90 days **** miles which is stated on the bottom of the invoices, with copies attached. When the car came back in on 10/04/2022 we charged to check out the window problem, stated that if we check out the window problem there would be a check out charge, do to the fact that is was out of warranty. Which the customer approved the check out. Upon the check out we found the regulator portion of the assembly where it attaches to the window glass was worn out and was causing the glass to become cockeyed. Told the customer the price, and told them there may be an issue with the weather stripping and track the window glass rides up and down on and that, that it is no longer available and let them know even though it was out of warranty that the manufacture of the window motor and regulator had a lifetime warranty on the part and there would be no cost for the part and just the labor only. so they told us to fix the window. We did the repairs on the car and sprayed PB Blaster window silicone weather strip lube, and the car came back the next day with an issue again with that window, we went and put another regulator and motor on at no charge and lube the rubber weather stripping again with PB Blaster silicone spray and reminded the customer that the weather strip is bad but not available, ****** are no longer made and the weather stripping is no longer out there to be found and not even on **** or internet. Don't know the exact date, but the customer came back several weeks later wanting a refund, I told them and showed them the weather stripping problem and sprayed the weather stripping spray Lubricate spray on the weather stripping where the stripping is and not dried out and the glass and window works great and he agreed. My technician was with me at that time and also told the customer.  But still wants a refund even though there is another part on this that is bad, something we didn't break, and is worn out on this old car and not available. The weather stripping has a deep channel the glass rides in and it's dried out and the metal strip in the middle of the rubber is most likely bent from the initial window regulator problem. Not sure how the customer came up with the figure of $700.00 dollars. The wipers were $13.95 not ***** per customer statement, and there was a $59.95 labor for pulling the wiper arms off to realign them and replace the wiper blades, customers complaint on the wipers were that there drivers side did not go up far enough, so we pulled the wiper arms off the wiper transmission and aligned the wiper arms and replaced the wiper blades, causing they worn .

All this paper trail shows is either incompetence or willfull ignorance at a problem that would have been clearly identified when the door was first looked at in october. I cant imagine standing by any business practice where, after milking a customer for hundreds of dollars, was unable to make any change they were hired to carry out.
