I had an appoint on 2/3/22 wherein I was examined and told my contact lens prescription would appear in the office portal. The doctor pushed me to change my brand of contacts and insisted on ordering a new brand for me to try even though I did not request a brand change explicitly (I complained about my night vision, but not my lenses). He spent maybe one minute checking my visit before deciding my prescription was also "wrong." A week later, I called back to get my prescription. I was told I had to wait to see how the new sample lenses fit, but they were on backorder. I asked them to figure out a way to get my contacts for this gap time but she refused.I also complained because I did not really feel like the doctor took time to examine my eyes; I also explained I was frustrated that he would not talk to me about my wishes in terms of what I wanted or was comfortable with. I was told then that was NOT allowed by their practice and that I had to go back to the same doctor. When I protested firmly that I wanted to see my previous doctor from the visit the year before, they agreed to the change. At that point they also admitted they that in fact DID have one of the new sample lenses in stock that I could try on March 15 (a full month later). I wasn't happy with the delay but I agreed to just get what I needed. When, on or around Feb 28th, I got a letter stating I was dismissed from the practice.. I called them at that point again asking me for my prescription, but they said my records were cleared out of the system (but they in the past records I attached here) and they could not give it to me, NOR would they return the fees I paid since I used their services NOR would they let me come in the final fitting.Customer response
