BIRD PROBLEM? BUYERS BEWARE .... We had birds take up residence in our exhaust vent over our range. This company had been recommended by several neighbors so we thought it was a no brainer. They "cleaned" which is blowing out the debris and performed their so-called sanitizing method and ********************************************************** the duct work. I immediately called and they scheduled a tech to come back out the next day. He arrived and put the camera down the vent and advised that there was 1 live bird and 2 dead ones. How they can say they "performed" their service is beyond me. You cannot sanitize and clean something when there is still wildlife stuck in the vent/ducts. I had to have another person come to my home and remove the live bird and dead birds. Our entire vent hood is now trashed as it's full of bird droppings and the ducts are covered in bird droppings as well.Their so-called fine print is at the very bottom of the scheduling email in the lightest gray font possible and their "satisfaction guarantee" refund of $50 is a joke. I'll be posting on all social media platforms and providing all of these details to my neighbors that have used their "services" and will never recommend this company to anyone. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Your feelings are understandable, even though we feel that you are not rightly assessing the service we provided.Kitchen Duct Cleaning:According to our automation notifications and procedures, you were informed that (for Kitchen Duct Cleaning) we are only able to clean from the exterior inward AND we do not clean within 1-2 feet of *****************. We cleaned your kitchen duct, including the nesting material, but the birds you identified were directly against *****************. This is in the area that we cannot clean and requires removing the range fan inside. This is not a service that we perform. Due to the birds being directly on top of the fan in this case, we only identified them upon our courtesy follow-up where we included a video examination of your ductwork.Bird Droppings:We wish for bird droppings to be completely cleaned from all residue, but the droppings get painted to the ductwork and they simply cannot be fully removed. Because of this, we recommend sanitizing the ductwork (we performed this service after cleaning, per your request) in order to neutralize any harmful bacteria. Replacing the ductwork due to bird droppings is costly and invasive, whereas sanitizing is an effective and low-cost solution!Satisfaction Guarantee:You are correct, our satisfaction guarantee is a $50 refund. The reason we limit it to $50 is to guard against situations like this one: we performed the requested services, communicated ahead of time the limits of Kitchen Duct Cleaning, performed a courtesy follow-up, and provided direction for what else was needed to fully address your bird problem. If we identify a failure on our end, we immediately rectify the situation beyond a $50 refund, as applicable. But this was not your situationand it never helps to threaten the company that is trying to do you right, either. You dont have to threaten our online reputation for us to hear and care about your concerns.Obviously, we have different opinions about how the service appointment transpired. ??
