    Purchased a 2012 **** ******** from Auto Center on 11/23/21 for a total price of $21,093.54. My mom called ***** on 1/20/22 to let him know that it is broken down and the 4x4 doesn't work. He called back, leaving a vm stating that it had been 60 days and they won't cover it. Mom called him back on 1/21/22 letting him know that it hadn't been 60 days and tried to see if they would fix it or trade the vehicle for a different one. He said they wouldn't do that. Please help me resolve this issue.

    If you do not live in Front Royal do not purchase a vehicle from here. I never received my lein release and called to request it; first time, the guy who picked up told me that the ladies whom complete this process were out of the office, he asked I call back another day. I called and explained to the lady, that I had never received a lein release, I was calling to request one; she immediately was rude, she said they couldnt keep mailing it out to me and it wasnt their fault that they kept mailing it and I wasnt getting it. I told her I had never requested it before, this was my first time. She told me they dont mail lein releases or titles; since she received the same energy, now they dont mail them? The first guy told me before the person who does the process is out and initially she assumed I had already called several times (she doesnt hear to comprehend, rather to argue or had an issue with my name not being *****, *** or ******* because she was immediatly rude when she heard my name, ***************************)! I asked for the address and she gave me the wrong address, I requested to speak to the owner. I was connected to a female who didnt introduce themselves by name, or acknowlege they were the owner until I directly asked. This business owner said they do not deal with Maryland MVA and have a policy not to send things by mail because they could get lost in the mail and create a whole issue. I offered to send money to pay for certified mail and she said no. I explained I live in ** and she said it wasnt in issue to travel and purchase the car, but now I was having an issue to travel and pick up a document! I asked her to listen to herself; traveling to make a big purchase makes sense while traveling to pick up paper does not! She said it wasnt their responsability to send documents to the buyers; I have purchased several vehicles from other dealees and never had an issue getting a lien release by mail. They are cheap and cant afford paper or stamps.

    As of 2020 when covid hit, we did put a policy in affect that we couldn't mail sensitive personal information such as title's. At that time it was extremely difficult to replace the title's that were lost in the mail as DMV wasn't operating on normal term's at that time which made it very hard to get duplicates. Our goal was to protect our customer's by this policy so we asked them to come in to pick up their titles safely. Upon looking into this further, ******************* title release was mailed to her when she paid it off which was 2018, before our policy was in affect. We have a different address on file that the one she has listed. Unless our customer's update us with correct information we have no way of knowing they moved. When she called the other day she was very combative and rude and we just explained that we have to follow our policy. A huge part of our clientel is spanish so we would have told anyone who called the same thing. Race is not an issue here for us! If we break our policy for one person we would have to for everyone. It's not that were cheap, or dont want to help we just have a policy in affect that we are required to follow.
