Was sold a junk car from the car lot, was told it was serviced and all and within 4 months the car has went to complete crap. Had the car looked at you can tell by the starter it’s been sitting in water somewhere, the battery was bad, and a lot of other things. We have paid over $3000 for a car that they lied to us about and after buying new parts and paying to have the car looked at we have lost a lot of money, work and all dealing with these issues.Business response

Mr. ****** purchased the vehicle on 2-28-2023. He called on 8-29-2023 and stated he would be in on 9-14-2023 to make his payment because the water pump had went out. We were unaware of any problems with this vehicle. All vehicles are serviced and inspected before being sold and we request them to take it to there own mechanic to be checked out and the purchaser MUST test drive before they are allowed to buy.Customer response

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Regards, ******* ****** I reject cause if the car was serviced I wouldn’t have had to change spark plugs, O2 sensors and Fuel injectiors alone. Once the water pump went out and I had it looked at when I was told the car had a lot of water damage and all underneath. The starter completely rusted and corroded to the engine, the battery went completely out has big buldge on the negative side. The auto store even told me the car had to be sitting in a field or water somewhere to get that badly damaged. I had the car 3-4 month no way I needed to repair or replace all of this. Then I get to reading that I’m not the only one with issues like this. I have 2 kids I thought they were nice people but feel I was taking advantage of being younger.
