Hello. I made a reservation, "free cancelation", and canceled it well within the cancelation window. (Dec 5th was the date I had to cancel by, Dec 3rd is when I canceled). The hotel was canceled no problem there. But they still charged me **$. When I contacted them they said, "we refunded you in rewards points". That is beyond unacceptable, they stole **$ from me and won't give it back. Before I clicked on "reserve" I checked the fine print and it said, "don't pay now pay at the property". That's what I chose. I never ever should have been charged Anything! I saw the charge pending which made me mad to begin with because I specifically reserved how I did so I wouldn't be charged. But then it completed and I was charged **$. I never should have had my money taken. That's theft. I agreed to pay at the property. They said your card is just needed to hold the reservation. False! They lied and stole from me! If there was a way to call the police on these people I would, because they stole from me. I agreed to free cancelation and to pay at the property. They stole me money, refuse to refund it, and I didn't even go, and I canceled it in plenty of time. I need my money back. They overdrew my account by pending the charge for so long, even tho they had no right to. Reservation was for today the 6th under my name.
