    My neighbor’s tree hit my fence. The fence was originally installed by Rosenbaum, so I called them out to make an assessment and repair the damage. They completed them last fall. This spring I noticed the fence is pulling away and falling out away from my property. I called and the office said their VP, Sean would be coming out to assess. The morning of, the office called and asked me if we could push back my appointment time due to Sean’s foot pain. No problem I said. I am home alone with a small child and I notice a red truck parked outside and a man walking up from my neighbor’s yard. I walk outside, and he greets me. He tells me his assessment was done from my neighbor’s yard and shows that the damage was caused by something inside my yard. I offer to unlock my gate and take him back to see it up close. Never once does he check the footer of the fence, when I questioned if it had been concreted properly, he replied “we always do it properly”. I said do you want to remove the leaf cover and check? He replies “oh I will”. He never does. Instead he just stands there and tells me something hit it, I ask what, he claims a structure that was attached the fence when the initial repair was made. There is no damage to the fence. The arguing continues in a civil manner, and he announces he is leaving. I told him I will post my experience online to which he replies “I hope you do. Good luck, I have pictures”. I have never experienced this kind of behavior from a company. Not even a thorough assessment was done, and he is dismissing me. He said he would post his photos of my fence, I hope he does because I never received any before or after the repair. I am curious to see the work done. Thanks for reading.

    We were called out to take a look at a repair to an ornamental fence that we completed over a year ago. The post was still tight in concrete in the ground but leaning over close to a 45-degree angle. There is a wood arbor leaning against the fence and a lot of overgrowth along with the arbor attached to the fence in this area. The customer was very argumentative saying we didn't use concrete and I showed her that we did because the post is still tight. Something has clearly impacted the post, and this is not under warranty. I rang the doorbell when I got to her property and then called and left her a message. I then walked to the right side where the gate was locked so I went to the left side at her neighbor's house to inspect. When I got back to my truck, she was standing in her yard and was argumentative from the start. I asked to go in the gate so I can show her what I had found. I was professional and pointed out that this was not under warranty because it has been over a year and an ornamental fence post doesn't fall over after a year without being impacted. After I realized she was not going to accept my assessment and was being very loud and rude, I told her I needed to leave her property. She has made several negative posts and reviews on other social media about me, and it is simply not true. After I initially replied to her review on google, she asked "if we fired her as a customer or if we would come back to give her an estimate to do the work". I replied we would be happy to if she would take the untruthful reviews off of social media. She responded with "these reviews are starting to get a lot of traction online so I will remove after you fix my fence". I replied we will no longer be doing any work for this customer.
