I have American Homeshield. Nguyen came out quickly and was friendly, but my insurance company called me, saying they are covering the cost of the compressor that went bad, but he wanted to charge $1600 for REFRIGERANT! I can buy the 10 pounds of the refrigerant for $350. When I emailed Nguyen about this, I got no answer. Shocker. Called and no answer. Called again, straight to voicemail. DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY. He has horrid reviews and has done this to hundreds of people in the area he works in. DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY!!!

If I could leave a zero, I would. We started having problems with our AC Saturday. Called ******** Home ******* who then picked A/C Plus. We were told the technician would call us with an appointment day and time. No one ever called, so we called them. After calling several times, the guy finally picked up and said he didn't know when he could come and would call us back. After 3+ hours, he called and said he could come Tuesday. He came out, changed the compasiter in less than 10 minutes and said you're good. The next day, our A/C started acting up again. So we called the guy again to tell him it was still not working. He said he couldn't do anything. We would have to call *** back to get him to come out. So that is what we did. He couldn't come until today (Friday). He was at our house for literally 5 minutes, hooked something up to the outside unit, said the unit was blowing at 56° and had no clue why it is 80° in our house. Said our unit is working just fine. And left. Now we have to wait for him to put in his "diagnosis" so we can get *** to assign another company. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL. Worst communication and service I have ever experienced. I could have done the same thing watching a YouTube video. Pretty sure that is where he learned his "skills". This guy is running a scam. He is taking as many home warranty calls because he gets paid for each call whether he does anything or not.

If I could give this company negative stars I would. This company was dispatched via my home warranty company. My a/c was not working, the guy who came out acted like he had just woke up from a nap and was extremely unhappy to be working. After checking my a/c, he said it was the compressor and it needed to be replaced. A couple of weeks went by and my warranty company sent me a message that they would replace the compressor but would not pay for the freon that is required to make the a/c work, they said that the cost was over ****** dollars per pound for freon and it would cost over ******* to replace it. When questioned about the high cost. they said to contact the contractor. I did call, and the response I received from the contractor was"The warranty company doesn't pay much to repair the a/c so I have to up my cost for my time" after being shocked by this response, the contractor then states "If you are not happy I will just cancel my service with you" and then hung up the phone, It has been numerous calls to the home warranty company and months and the a/c is still not fixed, the warranty company states they can't get in touch with the contractor to verify that he is not going to do the work. Thank goodness it is now winter and I have gas heat. Good Luck with this company, maybe your experience will be better, but I doubt it.
