I called Sengers Roofing after being referred to them by a trusted friend in September of last year to replace a soffit under carport. I was told that they were a Christian business. Several months later, I called them because my ceiling was cracking and water was beginning to leak. I called them and two weeks later they came . The roof was patched with a few of my own shingles . It leaked again in the same place and really cracked and each time we got a heavy rain, the leak got worse. I called them back and they couldn’t come for two more weeks . The crack grew and more water came in and the plaster began to fall. As they delayed it became much worse . Again I called them back and the foreman , ******* , came and went into the attic and found where the water came from. He stated it wasn’t fixed properly . I asked if this would have caused the damage to the ceiling . He said yes. He was to talk to his boss, **** , and also the owner of the company. I waited several weeks and called to see what was up. I spoke with ******** each time. She said she didn’t know what was going on but **** would call me. He called the same day but denied he even received a call . He was very aggressive saying “do you mean since Sept when we were there it never rained. However, the sept call was to repair the carport and nail down nails that popped up. Obviously, that had nothing to do with that trip. He told me from the beginning that he was recording the conversation. He was very rude and pushy . It was hard to get a word in so I told him we weren’t getting anywhere and I was going to hang up. I also said, let’s just forget this ever happened because I was tired of him raising his voice and pushing me. It was hard for me to get a point made , because he was talking over me. I Even sent an email to him so I could explain the way it went in regard to the timing and the damage. He never responded.

Senger Roofing is a locally owned family business that provides roofing and roof repair services. On 9/24/2021, we repaired a gutter and some nail pops at the request of a church working on behalf of the homeowner. Nine months later, on 7/8/22, the homeowner called our office saying she had a leak in her roof. A repair team was sent to her residence on 7/10/22. The team found a nail pop in an area that Senger Roofing had not worked on before this date. This was repaired at no charge. Again, Senger Roofing was contacted by the homeowner about another leak. We sent a repairman to the residence. During the repairman's inspection of the attic, nail pops from another roofing company were found. For a second time, these were repaired free of charge. These nail pops had nothing to do with our original repair. Senger Roofing did not work in that area of the roof, yet we still repaired them for free. The final contact Senger Roofing had with the homeowner was on 8/11/22. At this time, the homeowner stated that her ceiling had a hole in it and that was Senger Roofing's fault. After a rude tirade against our office manager, she hung up and refused to return any of our calls. The homeowner's roof was installed roughly 25 years ago by another roofing company ( Senger Roofing was not yet in business back then ). The leaks and nail pops the client has been experiencing are not due to occasional rain, but instead, are a direct result of the initial installation was handled and homeowner's reluctance to replace her roof after multiple explanations that a new roof would be required to fix her problems. In no way is Senger Roofing responsible for the current circumstances the homeowner finds herself in currently.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. There was no tirade with anyone.  He is not representing the truth.  I will handle the incident myself by word of mouth  Regards, ****** ****
