January 2023:Ray Harris quoted a figure to ** to supply paint and labor for one wall of our building. Rake and clean 1 1/2 flower beds and re-mulch. Blow off the leaves from the parking lot. He was paid in full for labor and to purchase supplies. Only painted half of the wall. Did not return to mulch the flower beds. He stated he was broke and needed more money.Business response

*** stated once his truck was fixed he would return to the customer's house to finish the work. *** stated he would follow up with the customer by phone informing them of the plan to finish the work.Customer response

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
As a business with an image to uphold in the county and to county standards, we cannot continue to wait until Mr. ********************** decides to get a repair. How is he maintaining his other business? No, this is a stall tactic. This was a very small project which would take any landscaper one day. This has lingered for months and months. I do not believe Mr. ********************** is a true businessman. I believe he is a true scam artist.

On or about October 15 we asked Ray Harris of Harris landscaping if he could build a fence for us. He stated that he would and has had "lots of experiences" doing so. He was paid for $**** labor to put up a :vinyl" fence less fencing material. I also gave him $**** for 27 pressure treated 4x4s (he stated wood-and materials cost lots of money"' and 25 bags of ready-mix concrete. As I was formulating the when where and how, we changed are minds and went for a wooden fence in which he wanted $*** more. The job was started approximately October 2021. He has spent a total of 4 days on the fence with my constant supervision because he indeed did not know how to build a fence as he stated he did. Till this day only 10 post have been dug and 22 frames with my assistance. There are a total of 27 post holes to dig and 38 frames to make total. He has cheated me for the materials he bought several times and he continues to make excuses for not finishing the job the fence job. Calling for the same materials my self has shown how what an idiot I have been every thing was much cheaper.
