Hired this contractor when we were having our pool built. Gave a deposit of $12,000+ and then cancelled as we no longer wanted to move forward with the contract. Haven’t heard from the company and haven’t received a refund. Not sure what to do at this point. We reached out and have not received any reply from anyone at this business. We were dealing with Nate and he has been non responsive.Review from Sandeep K

BEWARE OF THIS CONTRACTOR!!!!! Had the worst experience with this contractor (POC Nate). Things were going decently well (although there were a few red flags e.g. as soon as we signed the contract, Nate got hurt and stopped responding) for first 30 days or so and then he goes on vacation and there has been literally no movement at all. There were endless excuses related to family emergencies, sickness, false promises on delivery of material, crew showing but no one EVER showed up. Our backyard has 6 holes and we cannot access our own backyard. Please save yourselves some trouble and find someone else who would actually do the work. He probably made money off of us as he took the stones they took off from our existing patio and he said they will reuse it on another project they were doing. P.S. Do not want to include any personal details but want to beware other innocent families to know the red flags to watch out for in case they are considering.Review from Sandeep K

This couldn't be further from the truth. In fact we completely installed the patio for Mr. K*****. We removed all of the debris to the landfill. We do not use old material on new jobs as he accused. Material removal was in the contract to be taken to the landfill. During the patio installation we dug the footers for the deck and roof structure. The county requested a revision for the deck and roof structure. We then returned, dug additional holes and delivered the decking framing material to include concrete for the footer holes. Soon after that was when the complaint occurred. He has also not paid for the patio that has been completed on approximately the end of August. We have been in contact with Mr. K***** and he has not responded to discuss an honest resolution. The permit is still yet to be approved by Loudoun County Building and Development. We have contacted him multiple times therefor we cannot start the build of the deck and room which we explained to the client. Go somewhere else if you want anything done timely. Carmen is a fast talker and makes promises he can’t keep. He does not own this company, his hired workers call the shots and will show up when they want, if at all. It has taken month’s so do a three day job. No real explanation just lots of excuses and lack of communication. They may do great work, but we may never know because they may never finish. I would not recommend to any, not worth the headache.Review from MARY O.

WARNING: This company is taking people's money, and not doing the work. We contracted with them for a YEAR AGO for a deck and stone patio. It took them a year to complete our deck. We are still waiting for them to do our patio. Endless excuses. They are liars, and may have been ok company in years past, but they are a sham now. Owner either ignores or lies to us. This project is scheduled to be installed next week. Most of the materials are already on site. The existing old deck has been rebuilt and looks great and passed final inspection! Client loves the quality. Our timing is off, no doubt but the final quality is always there.Review from Shelly Z

Absolutely whatever you guys do, do not ever work this fraudulent company!! My in laws contracted with them for a patio over a year ago, and they kept getting delays and delays. They started the project, and then stopped with multiple excuses. Finally they stopped responding to inquiries. Now over a year later, the project remains unfinished. The in laws went with another company and asked for the deposit back and have been completely ghosted by them. Now they are out over 7k! Read all the other reviews. It's the same story over and over again. They are complete frauds and should be out of business.Review from Benjamin S

I signed a contract with them in 2018 to replace my deck. It is now November of 2021 and the deck is still not complete. It is missing boards. It is missing railings. It is not safe to use. I send countless e-mails, text messages, and phone calls, but the company completely ignores me. I wanted a deck, not a court battle... yet this is where we are headed. I would not recommend this company at all. If you value your time or money, please go elsewhere.Review from Jocelyn M

I have emailed and called this company 11 times since May 1, 2021 which is when work was supposed to start on my walkway path. At this point, I would like my deposit back. I wanted my walkway path this year, but since I haven't received a response from them it looks like it is not going to happen. Also, at this point, from reading reviews I am quite worried about what kind of work will result. I've only received one email form Leadsamerican-exteriors.com on March 11, 2021. I've sent four emails since April 26, 2021 no response. If this company can't keep up with the demand, they should not be taking people's deposits and their voice mail answering system is crap. They need a live person or secretary to handle and respond to callers.
