On 12 Oct 2022, we signed an “Architectural Service Agreement” with CASA FUTURA STUDIO LLC of Lorton VA and paid the price in full for $750. The signed agreement was for a Detached Greenhouse/Conservatory Floor plan to apply for a building permit, to include: 1. Site measurements 2. Existing Floor Plans (clients drawing and similar visual provided) 3. Proposed Floor Plans (accepted by client) 4. Answer comments from county 5. PDF file or printed copy The architect’s plan submitted to us for our Spring build included a front facade/elevation entry that significantly differs from the drawing we provided. When we notified the architect of this issue and asked for the plans to be corrected and for the answers raised from the county, we were informed the plans were done and that was the end. Our emails, calls, and texts requesting help are now ignored. We ask for the corrected plans with measurements, and answers to 2023 county comments for: 2.03 Additional supports at front of structure to support floor load 2.04 Additional supports for the center of the floor to support load 2.05 Clarify the mid point support of rear floor beam with intermediate support 2.06 Coordinate drawings; girder details 4 plies, framing shows 2 ply girder 2.07 Provide proper floor framing clearance to grade prescribed 2.08 Provide sufficient strength header to support girder trusses Drawings to demonstrate required: fascia to support roof at front of structure where corners are inverted; hip rafter/beam solid blocking down to foundation; augment floor beam where raised heel is not directly over a column and footing; verify loads and framing capacities accordingly.
