    My son carried my car there to have a used motor installed. It is a 1999 GMC Jimmy he drives the car. He was quoted $1500 for a used motor from ********** ******** and $1800 to install the motor. They had the car for about 2 weeks. I spoke with the owner of the garage and was told my son nagged him. He called my son on August 31st and told him it was ready but it needed a .thermostat. My son told him his brother would put one on. My son drove the car 14 miles 8 of which was miles from the garage. The car had to be towed home. I spoke to the owner on September 2nd, was told I would have tp pay $1800 more in labor. I spoke to him again on Sept. 6 I was told the car was running hot when it left the shop. Now I won't get another motor. We are out of $4359.42 . I now have to pay someone else to fix his screwup. My son can 't deal with this he has chest pains because of the treatment he received from this so called business. I am a senior citizen living on a fixed income and i can't deal with these people. I would like to get some money back,

    I have video of the motor running temp raising up we wanted to change out the thermostat no extra labor before he took it but he came and got it anyway. We got it running at 3:15pm on 8/31 and I called the son and he had to have it with numerous text stating that he was in a bind with his mothers doctor appointments and him having to work. His brother came down here with him to inspect the motor without the knowledge of heat tabs and not knowing the conversation that was with the mother and son that were put in by **********. Before any work was done there was verbal agreement that there was no guarantee of the motor with us that was through ********** and they purchased a lifetime warranty through them. Our only job was to swap out the motor for them. They bought the motor at cost and there was no markup the son and mother were shown the ticket for proof. After hearing about the problems they were having on 9/2/22 at 6pm we told them to bring the vehicle back to us to check it out and see what was going on. They agreed to bring it back the following week on 9/6/22 because we were closed labor day. They instead chose to get one of their friends to call us and tell us what was going on but we haven't been able to verify or do anything to help them. The mother called again that Tuseday saying the motor was bad and demanding us to put a new motor in free of charge without even looking at the heat tabs or at the vehicle at all. After she wouldn't let us look at it that was already agreed on she went off and said she was taking us to court. I have text and call logs as well as a video of the motor running smooth when it left with the gauges recorded also. The son had came back to us because we have done work for him previously and was happy with our work. There was nothing wrong with our work and if the motor actually go out like they claim it did then it fall on ********** who supplied the motor. I would be happy to talk to anyone if they would like to call me thanks.
