      I have power of attorney for my dad and they keep making me jump through hoops to try to pay off my dads account which is making his account go unpaid because my dad is ill. I only want to pay my dads account off and they keep saying one more form, and after I satisfy that form, they tell me they need to snail mail me another form. This is ridiculous, I sent them the POA document, then a notarized document stating that I am who I am and they are still refusing to grant me access to do anything with my Dads account.

      Thank you for the opportunity to look into this situation for you, Mr. *******.   We do see where we were presented with the Power of Attorney documentation on 5/2/2024.   Upon review and approval of the Power of Attorney, you were sent the POA Agents Certification form that is required to be signed and submitted back to us before we can add the named Power of Attorney to the account.   We see from notations on the account that we received this on 5/2/2024 and you were added as the Power of Attorney on this account at that time.   At this time, you should have access to your father’s accounts based on the outlined Power of Attorney documentation.   Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any additional concerns.

      Paid off my car loan , but still continues to take 213.64 out of my checking account

      Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to research this issue further.  Our research shows that you had set up an incoming ACH payment from your account with *********.  You paid your loan in full on 4/12/24.  After the date of payoff and closure, Beacon Credit Union received a payment from ********* on 4/30/24, this was remitted back to you in the form of an official check that was mailed on 5/1/24.   As this is an automatic payment you have established with *********, you will need to work with them to discontinue the recurrence of this payment being remitted to Beacon Credit Union.

      We have reviewed the loan account for Mr. ***** and show that this loan was paid and closed on 3/8/24.  Credit reporting agencies are updated by Beacon Credit Union at the end of each month for any activity that has taken place during the month.  The payoff and closure of this account will be reported with end of March reporting.  The updated information should show on Mr. ***** credit report within 30 days from time of reporting to each credit reporting agency.

      Beacon Credit Union approved loan for my son, I co-signed for. After the loan officer told my son to go purchase the car on 3.9.23 from ******. He was suppose to go to Beacon the next day to get the check for the loan. At first he was supposed to go at 12, then told to come at 5. Around 4:30 the manager call my son and told him the car didn’t appraise enough.

      Upon review of the received complaint, Beacon Credit Union conducted additional research.  The member had been approved for two vehicles prior to the March purchase, the member did not move forward with the purchase of these vehicles.  For the purchase that took place in March, the member was asked to bring in buyer’s orders, which is a required document for the application process.  When the buyer’s orders were presented on 3/10/23, the amount of vehicle purchase exceeded the lending guidelines for loan-to-value.   A counter-offer was made to the member, which he declined.  The member’s decision to decline Beacon’s counter-offer, resulted in the inability to complete the requested loan.  The required notice explaining this reason is being sent to the member.

      About a month ago I was a victim of fraud thru my cash app,my account was tied into my cash app and money was withdrawn and sent to different accounts which now has been closed down,they resolved all but almost $300,but prior to this I was able to withdraw my daughter money which I am on with her,so since I went in and file on the remaining money that was not showing at the time I filed the other cases. I tried on today to access my daughter account and it has a block on it, I went into local branch and the cashier reach out to ***** in the ********* ******** office who handles the accounts which has been overdrawn,she then told me she was not responsible for blocking of my account to contact ****** to see if she would remove it,****** is in the fraud department and cards and is not responsible for it,so she reached out to ***** to then tell her no she is not unblocking any of my accounts,so it seems I’m getting the run around over something that’s not my fault,and after going thru this they blocked me access to my information,so now I’m not able to track any activity on my account,and they are holding my daughters money and I can’t access her information either,at first I had no issues with drawing her money out now I’m completely block after going in today and asking questions,I’m not getting nothing but negativity from the department in ********* ******** and nothing being resolved and it frustrating and wrong for them to hold my daughter money

      We appreciate the opportunity to respond to Ms. ******** concerns.  As per the membership account agreement, all accounts in which a party has ownership are subject to right of set-off; as is the situation with the accounts mentioned by Ms. ******.  Beacon Credit Union is working on a resolution for Ms. ****** and will be communicating directly with her.
