On 02/14/24 I hired Viewpoint Tree Service to cut and haul away a large Oak tree from my front yard. The backed into two sections of my fence and didn't repair them. It is a family business. They cussed and carried on for 30 min. Straight. I had to go out an tell them to be quiet. They ran into the electric wire causing me to loose power. They dug up my cable line destroyed the line. I didn't have **** TV for a week. They left huge logs that should have been taken away. They didn't wear any protective gear.

This is Randy Brooks, owner of Viewpoint tree service. We were hired by Mrs. ***** ***** to take down a large red oak tree in her front yard that was ruing the foundation of her home. I am very disappointed that she is unhappy with the work involved. I am also confused to hear the complaints that were given as I thought we were at a complete understanding as we went according to contract and talked everything over from start to finish. As for her complaint with the cursing she had come outside to tell us to stop yelling. But, with lots of loud heavy machinery and my employee climbing the tree in order for us to hear each other you have to speak in a very strong tone so the "yelling" is necessary for safety precautions. We do not use inappropriate language on the job as it is unprofessional and disrespectful. When we had spoken about the cable line Mrs. ***** and I had come to the understanding that it was in the way and would not be able  to be reconnected until the job was finished as the was lots of heavy machinery moving in and out of her yard as well as approximately fifty-two-thousand pounds of waste material from the large 115 feet tall red oak. For  the fact the her power line was disconnected from, her house was due to the fact that a dead limb had fallen out of the tree when we had started the job and taken out the connection in response to this we had called *********** ***** to come reconnect it within the hour which they had done at no cost. Now for the wood that she is upset with i have an explanation as a company we strive to make sure that at the end of every job that these waste materials can be used in an efficient way to help people in any way possible as for the trees not to be wasted this includes giving wood chips away as fertilizer and ground cover as well as giving away excess wood for people who use it to heat their home. So when the contract is signed all materials of the job become property of viewpoint tree service as Mrs. ***** knows. So with this being said Mrs. *****'s next door neighbor had asked her if he could have the wood from the job to use as firewood. In turn she had asked my employee if that was fine in which I was informed and compiled. Days After giving her neighbor the material he requested, I believe she began to see the wood on the property next to her as an eye sore and has tried to get us to remove it from the property without consent of the homeowner. Viewpoint tree service is a company that makes safety, completion, and customer satisfaction our main priority and I'm very displeased to see that has failed with Mrs. ***** but i do not tolerate the false accusation and statements especially after we had spoken and agreed not to carry out any legal actions wither extremely aggressive dog that had attacked me and two of my employees my injury has kept me from being able to run the saw and has been in pain since the day of attack all pictures of start to finish of job and dog bites will be uploaded.

He work was completed as customer asked for I quote her 2 days .. also saying it’s possible it could take 3 .. would do our best to finish.customer keep changing her mind added on smaller amounts of misc. things in yard  to do which I did..Also Customer wants to micromanage me and my crew and also had Equipment problems. As expected in the field it’s just part of the business so yes there was delays but the job was completed and she paid at the final day. Customer also gained us access to the neighbors yard along the tree line to remove material from her yard. There was tracks in the yard from our trucks that weAfter every job rake out and smooth over. The customers yard was in great shape she wanted me to bring an extra load of dirt or two and I told her I would at her cost because that was not part of the agreement. Customer pay at the completion Of job as all my customers do to show complete satisfaction no money upfront guaranteed service thanks. Brooks Viewpoint tree service LLC

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Randy needs to be truthful & complete in his reply Twice before work began he came out & we completely/exactly went over the entire job which he quoted as 2 days + maybe prorated 1/2 to which I agreed Micromanage? I came out to find man chain sawing very tall trees (since bucket truck was not working) that fell into my ornamental trees/breaking limbs I said Look! Too tall & might fall on my roof-he moved to other trees I should not be expected to pay for understaffing or non working equipment Deep tire tracks were left in my neighbors yard-Randy saw & OFFERED FREE dirt to repair He left me no choice but to pay him-still I have no paper statement showing what I paid I have no dirt I was over charged & made to pay so they would complete job Randy took advantage of the situation & me
