Hired to represent my mortgage account (loss mitigation & foreclosure defense) with owner, **************** (an individual) who is the lender. The paperwork came from Themis Law, LLC around December 18, 2021 for representation, fees, etc. I made multiple payments & was informed by the firm that the account was closed without any notice in the middle of the month because Themis Law, PLLC can not represent me or anyone if the owner of loan is an individual & not a business. The firm's attitude was horrible and they said, " I have to deal with **************** directly without any assistance from them." Also, that the account should not have been open and that no refunded would be given including the last month which was cancelled before month end without notice. Finally, the firm has nothing to provide me just some notes and can not put anything in writing regarding the seller or communication to date. I even requested the calls with the firm that are recorded which included my intake or account setup (lender information, auto-payment, legal documents, etc.) that informed them the lender was an individual and more. The Client Manager agreed to request this audio and send it along with the audio with ***** (my rep) stating my account was closed effective immediately for the owner issue & their refusal to refund payments to date with nothing accomplished & refusal to work on.Reference #**********; Monthly payments: $995.00; Start Date: 1/18/2022; End Date: March/April 2022
