Our roof was damaged due to high wind and a wind-felled tree branch which punctured through the shingles and plywood below. G&F Construction (Felix) thoroughly explained and guided us through the insurance claim process to get approval for an entire roof replacement due to discontinued shingles. Manuel was instrumental in working with us and the insurance company through a rather lengthy claims process to ensure all aspects of the replacement were addressed to our satisfaction. He went out of his way to reach out and provide updates and was always responsive to questions and concerns. The entire crew that replaced the roof was professional and courteous. I would recommend G&F Construction to anyone who requires a roof replacement. Woodbridge, VA

I was introduced to G&F Construction through my neighbors. Two of the neighbors on my block had used G&F to replace their roofs several months earlier. They shared how great G&F was to work with and how professional their crew/team was. However, unlike them, I had a special needs roof with solar panels on it and had to work through a third party contractor to remove the panels before I could have the roof replaced. This process, working through the third party contractor, proved to be very time consuming and frustrating with delays after delays. Through it all, G&F remained patient and supportive, providing information and guidance wear possible. Once, the panels were finally removed, G&F coordinated directly with me and provided timely performance within a limited timeframe to ensure my roof was replaced before bad weather set in, that would have delayed replacement even further. I could not recommend a construction service provider more highly than I recommend G&F Construction! Especially, it’s General Manager, Melissa H********. Without her expertise, knowledge and help, I would still be working to repair and replace my roof from earlier this summer. Thank you, thank you, thank you Ms. H******** and G&F Construction! I used G&F construction company for my roof replacement. I heard about them from someone who also was a previous customer. I worked directly with Felix who is the main salesperson who goes above and beyond with his job. very friendly, prompt and professional. my roof replacement involved a dry wall as well which was delt with their people and completed timely. overall, my experience has been good. based on my positive experience i will definitely recommend G&F to family and friends.Review from Rohit B

Disgustingly dishonest and perform substandard work. G & F construction is the worst company I had to deal with. They try to cheat your insurance company by billing 2-3 times the market rates. They will install emergency tarps on their own in order to bill your insurance $500+, even if your roof doesn't have any active leaks. They will try to install sub-standard material even though they charge 2 - 3 times the market rates using untrained workers! They inflate the prices, include inapplicable items on the invoice, hoping the insurance adjuster overlooks them, and perform unnecessary repairs. They are very shady (I would compare them to storm chasers, con-men, etc). They will not change the flashing (because it involves more labor!) but charge you for it. Your new roof will fail a lot earlier if all the components are not replaced. In the beginning, they will appear to be helpful but turn nasty if you question their bills or repairs. Owner is a scrooge and will nickel and dime you (he wants to maximize his profit at your and your insurance expense); no 3 free pieces of plywood here, you will be paying for more than they use. Stay away and save yourself headache of dealing with bad repairs (which will end up costing you more in the long run), higher insurance premiums and going through the court system to recover costs. Their installation will fail third party inspection.
