      We experienced an unexpected water leak this morning. Beacons representative ******** had someone out this morning , *****, who was competent, responsive and polite. After some early morning jitters, we are breathing calmly now thanks to Beacon.

      Beacon arrived for same day plumbing service to address a leak under the kitchen sink. The tech was **** and he was professional, polite, and knowledgeable. We needed a new faucet and we decided to buy our own faucet so he was able to come back the next morning. We had requested several other maintenance issues to be addressed so he ended up replacing the sump pump, flushing the hot water heater, & replacing the pressure valve. I highly recommend them. Their pricing was not low, but it was fair for the quality of work and quality of parts they use.

      On 2/1/2024 John and Jeffery installed our new water heater, carbon block whole house purification, and a few other plumbing upgrades. Brooke from the office was also amazing setting up the appointment within minutes of reaching out. Nothing but fantastic, friendly service. Will continue to recommend Beacon to all my friends and family.

      John was amazing! He helped fix all of our previous plumbing issues so we could get a new garbage disposal not just installed, but able to fully function and work for years to come. Really appreciate his above and beyond attitude in treating us as a family with custom needs and concerns. Thank you so much, we highly recommend!

      Contacted Beacon to replace doorbell chime and button. Nelson Mota performed the work. He arrived on time, very friendly, professional, courteous, Knowledgeable, pleasant and positive attitude. Will definitely use this company again and will request Nelson. Brooke contacted us to make sure everything went well and we were satisfied with the work. We are!!

      Had a great experience with Beacon office staff however I was NOT impressed by their techs’ business skills. I won’t comment on their technical skills - waiting to confirm fixes hold. I had both a plumber and electrician visit today. Before providing me with a written estimate, each tech gave me outrageous verbal estimates: 1) $4.4K estimate from the plumber to fix leak under sink, replace 3 sink faucets and install a small water heater we had purchased. 2) The electrician quoted me $280 initially for troubleshooting analysis. In a followup call with my husband, he quoted us 330$. When I asked him about the changed estimate, he said I misunderstood the first estimate. I then requested a written estimate. he emailed an estimate for $280. On the third call, he told me the call was being recorded and when I commented about the estimate changing to 280 he said it was because I was upset. I found the lack of integrity of both techs to provide reasonable initial estimates disappointing. I had the plumber fix the leak under the sink only. I called Beacon to share concerns about the electrician while he was troubleshooting. He hadn’t followed protocol for estimates etc. The office staff said they would notify the service manager immediately. Interestingly, when the electrician called me after troubleshooting, he reminded me the call was being recorded, told me he had replaced the breaker, tightened some wiring, tested and confirmed everything was working. There was no call or email to inform me what was wrong and the cost of repair. He said everything was done and total bill was $280. He asked if I was happy and asked me for a 5 star rating if his service was good. It is unfortunate that Beacon’s techs drag the company reputation down with price gouging tactics. It’s incumbent on the customer to dig into details, challenge where things seem off, ask for options and/or escalate with management to get reasonable prices. Service should not be this hard!
