These people have my phone number address and personal information on line they are a subcity area of WHITE PAGES who I sent you a complaint to have my infor removed they never removed it they used it under one of the other companies they work with One Rep Whitepages opt-out FastPeopleSearch opt-out CheckPeople opt-out I want to be removed from all of the list I have people stalking me and threaten my life I have filed police reports from past people in my life that mean me harm I want this to stop I will be seeking legal actionBusiness response

We would like to take this opportunity to explain how the company works. Onerep.com is an online service that helps people to remove information about them from data broker websites (also known as people search sites). These sites, not Onerep, expose information about people online. By contrast, Onerep helps people to remove their information from such websites since they violate user privacy by sharing personal details without consent. When you enter your name on Onerep.com it triggers an automatic scan of all data broker websites Onerep removes information. This feature is offered for a user of Onerep.com to understand which data broker websites display information about the user. When the scan is complete, Onerep.com provides the user with the search results in a convenient, visual format (please see a screenshot attached). In this sense, our tool is very much like ****** search engine. If you enter your name in Onerep, it will look for and display all the results associated with your name it can find. In our case, this search is limited to data broker sites only, as our aim is to delete information about you and other users from these sites.
As the screenshot demonstrates, there is a name of a data broker site next to each profile Onerep search engine finds. The actual sources of these records containing information about the person are these data broker sites, not Onerep.com. We cannot emphasize enough that Onerep.com does not own, collect, store or keep any information that appears in search results after you enter your name and location on Onerep.com.
There is another important thing we would like to point out: every time you visit Onerep.com and enter your name in the search field, then enter your state and email address and check the box that you agree to Onerep Terms of Services, you complete registration as a user of Onerep.com. These details she provides upon registration on Onerep.com are used to scan the web to find your records exposed by data broker sites in accordance with our Terms of Service (***************************************************) and Privacy Policy *************************************************).
The last time you did this was on July 4, 2023. You visited Onerep.com and completed the registration, thus your data (name and email address) was saved automatically once again, although we had removed your data and deleted your account after your first complaint. If you want Onerep.com to delete the details you shared with us upon registration, you will need to inform us accordingly every time you register an account with us.
You can try to remove these records on your own, using free instructions on our website (****************************************).

For the reasons stated above, we find your complaint irrelevant as your issue is addressed to the wrong party and not meeting BBB Complaint Acceptance Guidelines.

Dear ****,
We do not store, keep or share any information that appears in search results when you enter name and location into the search field on our website. When you put your information, our robot scans the internet and shows what websites (data brokers/yellow pages) expose your info.
We are not any of those sites. We act on people's behalf to remove it.

I paid One Rep $179.99 to remove my name from websites after they query my name and found my name listed on 91 websites. They requested I provide my name, address, social security and date of birth which I gave them. Prior to paying One Rep, I query and only found my name listed on ONE website.After two weeks, they stated my name was deleted from 91 website including the one I found my name listed. However, the last three days, I did my queries again and still found my name listed on that one website, BUT NOW my name has also been listed on four other websites I found when I query my name. My PERSONAL INFORMATION have been sold to other private websites by One Rep.This is clearly a scam and I paid money believing their promise only to find out I was lied to. Please becareful with this organization. I sent them a complaint today so I am waiting how they will respond.Business response

I noticed I haven't gotten an update for some time telling me how many profiles my information was found on. I went to check the site today and my login attempt went to 404 page not found. I tried a different browser. Same thing. Tried to reset password. 404 page not found. Called ###-###-#### at 1:26 pm Jun 7 2023 and got a voicemail with an Indian accent telling me to leave name and number, like I was calling a persons house. This company is looking like a massive phishing scam. I am going to refute the charge. This company needs to be investigated by the FTC BBB and whatever other government body would have jurisdiction.Business response

Site offered to remove my info from data brokers and offered a trial subscription that could be cancelled. When I found that the trial did not include the removal of my data from the brokers within the time of the trial, ******** their chat person stopped corresponding with me. Please note that the process starts immediately but it might take 4-8 weeks to complete, as the actual removals are handled by the sites themselves. The opt-out period differs from 24 hours to 30 days according to the terms of use of each site. All the companies are notified with an opt out request but you won't be able to track the progress or receive an update after trial cancellation.
What's more, this information can reappear on sites from time to time and our system keeps removing it as soon as it reappears.
Removal is ongoing and your account is scanned once a month as well as monthly reports sent to your email.
Please note that no payments have been made as you canceled it during the trial. The confirmation was sent to your email as a reply (please see the attachment).

This business is a complete scam. Literally within moments of signing up for the service a text scam went out to people Im acquainted with. Also, they immediately show your info is removed from sites even though they could never show you the profiles before they were removed. Also, thats not how opt-out works. It takes days to weeks to get things removed. Use more reputable sites. Also, if you gave this site your payment information, get that cancelled immediately.Business response

Unfortunately, we couldn't understand the correlation between spam messages that your acquaintances received and the service that you just signed up to. Our team was in the process of removing your public records from search. The removal is automated and you can track it on your dashboard. Near every search result there is one of the statuses indicating: "Profiles found", "Potential sites" , "Removal in progress", "Removed".

Communication problem Not computer savy! Their website was misleading . I thoughtI was to be billed on my credit card 8.33 per month instead I was billed 99.95 twice once on 5th of Dec and 6th of Dec of 2022. Capital One removed one of the double billings. I then upgrade to a family plan and paid addional sum of totaling 179.95. Then I find my account deacivated. They made a mistake and refunded 90.00Business response

It seems you have two accounts registered and activated at different times.

I signed up for the free five-day trial and want to end it before the subscription starts as I've come across quite a few reviews stating OneRep is a scam. I also want my account and its data to be deleted. Whenever I call their support number, it always says no one is available, and no one calls me back. I've also emailed their customer support as well, but I've still gotten no response. I just want to end my free subscription before I'm charged, and I want my account as well as its data to be removed or deleted.Business response

I did a trial search for my Dad (who is 90 years old) with OneRep but I never confirmed (you can see the link is blue - I never clicked on it to confirm and no bill was ever sent to me) company then billed me for both an annual membership and is also billing me monthly and won't cancel or refund the fees. It said in the email "If you did not register for this account, no further action is required. Simply ignore this email and your address will be removed from our database automatically."Business response

The screenshot indicates the message asking to confirm your email. By confirming your email, you'll be able to log into your account at ease.
Please note that you had already submitted card information to start the service before confirming your email.
We also noticed that you changed the plan during the trial. Please be mindful that downgrading/upgrading a plan does not mean cancelling it. The alert was displayed that you were going to be instantly charged for switching between plans. Unfortunately, we haven't heard from you since you started the trial. When the trial is due, the customer becomes a paying user.
As opened the dispute with the bank regarding the charge, it will take longer to process the refund. Your refund should appear on your credit card/bank statement within the next 1-3 months.

I paid onerep monthly No problem Switched to yearly. They overcharged me Emailed them called No reply I may have to contact my bank I had paid the monthly fee. The deal was 80$ a year up to 6 people I was charged 79 and in addition 10$ was debited to my account In addition I left a message to change my email I can only access the email on the web Tried to change email ok their site. They require password. It's saved. However not on that part of their website! No overcharge was made as you paid only the difference between the plans. The reminder was shown before making a payment how much you'll be billed to switch to another plan. As your subscription is pro-rated, it calculates the amount you'll be charged depending for how long you've kept the service.
